Brilliant player and fun to watch. First touch is sublime, pace, works hard, tackles, takes players and his final ball seems to have really improved.

If I was being really critical, he needs to add a few more goals. I think he's got it in his locker to bag a really good number. Just needs to become a bit more ruthless.
He’s become more of a team player and that’s a really good thing. I think he’ll start scoring more as well.

Definitely a good thing, but I also think sometimes he should be more selfish. Did he even take any shots last game against Spurs?

He is superb, with little bit more pace he would have been more amazing.

That's my assessment as well. Amad is very quick in tight spaces but he's not going to beat many fullbacks in an all out sprint. We're blessed to have him in the squad.

Probably his worst game all season. Made the wrong choice nearly every time. Super frustrating

Love him and his defensive intensity is very important but he needs to be better at the top end of the pitch consistently if he wants to nail down a place in the team

Horrible game. Repeatedly made poor decisions.

Lacked quality throughout

Still one of our more important players, so expect him to bounce back quick

His energy is great, the pressing and defensive work rate. But will need to show a lot more quality in the final third.

Love the guy, but he was dreadful today. Partly fatigue maybe, partly the lack of space, but he was trying to force things too much

As soon as he didnt release that obvious pass for Dalot on the counter, his game seemed to gradually go downhill.

That was a total stinker. Worst game of the season from him.

He got tackled by a man on the floor.

Excellent rwb, pretty poor everywhere else. Will probably be the big loser in Amorim having been fired.

Where has his killer instinct gone?

No goals or assists for United under Carrick, looking a bit underwhelming in attack tbh. No idea why he didn't go for goal when through at the end.

When Amad plays like that then it's clear why another wing option in the squad makes sense.

Headless chicken with 0 end product.

We need to find another wide player to challenge for his position.

Sleepy performance - that chance to release Dalot was typical of his game today. Very passive.

You guys just say anything. He’s been one of our better and more consistent players ever since Amorim left

Why didn’t he just shoot there at the end! If he has to ever take the next step, he needs to trust himself more. Great players can have awful games, but when the pressure is on, they always back themselves to deliver.

Hope he learns from this.

Internet’s so reactionary. Guy had a horrible game, that should be the end of it

All of a sudden - it’s “will be biggest loser in Amorim being fired”/“better RWB than XYZ” - despite the fact he’s been one of the best under Carrick

Probably his worst game since Grimsby. Struggled for end product all season but tje rest of his game wasn't at it at all tonight.

He had a bad game but let's not make it something it isn't. He's a fantastic player

Half the morons complain on here when he shoots from there, the other half complain when he tries to find his man. I don't think either option was that bad there, just his execution was off.
