Amad Diallo | 2026/27 Performances

How many times now have a United player missed a game with a small issue/niggle to later reveal its 6 weeks or longer out of action?

Feels like it's Carrick's default to say something is a minor issue no matter the severity

Classic. Just ridiculous luck on the eve of MD1.

This is a career defining season at United for Amad and things like this could very well contribute to the end of his time at the club.

Can't help but feel we need a player with a combination of Mbeumo and Amad's skills as a long term starter in the RW slot.

Mbeumo makes good runs, pretty good finisher, delivers a good dead ball (which we rarely use) but lacks 1 v 1 skills.

Amad presses superbly, has really good feet in tight areas, but has poor final ball, finishing and decision making.

So probably out until after that long international break. Great... See you in mid October amad.

What? He's just got a new contract has he not why would this be the end of his time here?

Lots of rumours now saying he might be fit for the Ipswich game???

Ya , I see reports this morning saying it is not a serious injury and he should be ok for Sunday.

Mind you the same reports are saying Mount should also be available for Sunday , and we all know that is probably nonsense.

Any accurate journalist reporting it? For Amad.

We should have enough depth now to start a different player. I say start Bryan up top. he's done well there and push Cunha to the LW to replace Dorgu, who may be swapped for Shaw at some point at LB, he should stay away from LW when he cant control the ball and play simple passes in the build-up.

Amad will be back hopefully, him and Mount could press, even we definitely have athletic enough players to press even without Amad, rather coward tactics from the manager.

Seeing as Sully doubled down after the Wheeler piece, looks like we’ll have a classic showdown by sundown ahead of us when the squad for Ipswich arrives.
Yeah like something out of a spaghetti western

I would start drogu at LB.
Start Dalot at RB.

We need one of Sesko or Amad to be fit. Can't be playing Cunha CF and Dorgu LW.

Happy with Dorgu / Cunha - Mbeumo - Amad or Dorgu / Cunha - Sesko - Mbuemo for this weekend's game
