I‘d like to know that as well?Apologies if already discussed, but any idea on wage coverage?
We saved £19.5m in wages to buy Onana for £43.8m. Smart business!
United fans saying we should reintegrate him it was all Amorims faultI suspect he'll resurrect his career somewhere he's not under an intense spotlight.
Brace yourself for some highlight reel saves, opposition fans laughing at United saying "should never have let him go" and an inevitable transfer to Napoli next summer.

We paid premium to end up with a worse player. Sounds like peak Woodward
INEOS made some good moves this Summer. Fair play.
The very first game (a pre season)…Still remember when he crashed out on Maguire for a mistake in one of his first games and everyone on here loved him for it.
They are. Probably higher than what he earns at United.Does anyone know who is paying his salary?
Data driven signings.
We will be back towards the top of the footballing pyramid in a few years i'm pretty sure.
Our revenue once we are back in Europe will be potentially the highest in the league and we have a trimmed wage bill.
Deadwood is pretty much gone, and with a great training ground and 100k stadium in the works I doubt we will have major troubles attracting players.
Last season we fixed the defence, this season the attack yet pundits just talk shite to gain views. On the field and behind the scenes we have made major strides.
From seeing it with people with substantial means with foundations during my career. Not saying it’s not a good gesture, but usually the money comes from donors, not the individuals. Prime example is Rashford didn’t pay for any school meals himself if I’m not mistaken. What do you base your “confidence” on?
Things can very quickly change in football when you start making good decisions. Honestly the last 12 months has given me a lot of hope that we're back to being a proper football club again.
There's a good chance he could be the worst player full stopGood news. Seems like a nice guy but the worst keeper we’ve had at the club.
This.Hopefully that’s the last of him in a United shirt. Disastrous signing.
The most costly one regarding losing us CL points and PL points, therefore losing us a lot of money. There's a good chance he could be the worst player full stop

That's because maguire was a heel at the time. Now he's a face.Still remember when he crashed out on Maguire for a mistake in one of his first games and everyone on here loved him for it.
Ah hell naw. There's a good chance he could be the worst player full stop
I have no regrets about this. There's no universe in which we should be giving 375k p/w to DDG who was at best a mid table keeper by the time the renewal came up.
Transfers succeed, transfers fail, but if you use the same logic (total cost to club is low if you pay large wages over 5 years vs buying new), you'll be stuck with overpaid divas like Rashford who will be impossible to move on.
You have to do this extremely selectively -- like Liverpool's Salah / VVD situation. Even that is looking a bit questionable now with Salah's decline.
And yet look at the damage the logic you're defending created. We didn't just lose money, we were forced to start Onana for two seasons culminating in a 15th place finish. Was the worst league result in generations worth saving £20m on Dave's wages ?
Not sure why you've quoted me saying wowWow,
Its the same when Movie stars raised money for charities, and effin Tescos for that matter, it’s never their own money. Anyway you look at it Ohnana is a cheeky so and so, he’s on double at least his last job , according to transfermrkt he was a free transfer, before we spent 50m. Had all the charity he’s getting hopefully.
And we got rid of Rashford and seemingly replaced him just fine with guys like Mbeumo. Do you think we should've given Rashford the 350k p/w contract? Or should we have cashed in and signed a replacement?
The questions to ask for me is why Onana was signed and why he failed, not why DDG wasn't renewed.
No, but Onana got his salary increases as he wantedDid we get a loan fee?
De Gea could've been renewed at a lower wage as it was clear he didn't want to go. I happen to take Rio's view on the issue. Whoever was pushing him out should've been sacked.
