Best of luck to him. It hasn’t worked out here and I think it’s apparent that Amorim doesn’t fancy him as 1st choice so it’s good that he can move and play and if he impresses he can get a good move somewhere next season.

For those saying about de Gea, he was making a lot of mistakes before we gave up on him, and was rightfully replaced. Issue was not getting rid of him, but getting Onana. We had a terrific goalkeeper that was bad on the ball and never came for crosses, with errors creeping in, to a goalkeeper that is horrid with crosses and much more errors.
Onana actually had a good period in his second season, and looked like things were beginning to turn around. He went back to his mistakes up until around the time ETH was sacked and never really got back. Even up to the Grimsby game, you can tell effortlessly was never the issue - but he just wasn’t good enough.

Good riddance, terrible keeper and not even that good with his feet like were promised. Up there with some of our worst ever signings.

We are top in most metrics and our league position based on our fixtures isn't bad either.
Weird narrative going on, we have Grimsby but Onana was very heavily responsible for that and he's gone now.

Aye, in most other lines of work you might actually struggle to find another job if you were that terrible at it but here this guys getting an increase in wages after his calamitous performances - and his actually work performances are out there for the entire world to see - it’s not like it’s a secret or something. Defies belief at times.
