They’ve actually taken on his wages as well. And gave him a pay rise. Whoever done that deal was having a tough week by the looks of it.
 
There really isn’t one aspect of keeping he is good at, I know keeping is a confidence thing as much as anything but he looks like an imposter. Even his passing, which was allegedly going to change us completely, is utterly hopeless. He is ETH’a worst signing and rivals Sancho as the worst, he is orders of magnitude worse than Antony.
 
The contrast with Lammens is way too steep for him to play for us again. His united career is over.

Hyperactivity. Clowning around the box. Looking a bit daft whatever he does - there's actually one role I think Andre is well suited to filling for us: Fred the Red.
 
Forget fighting for his spot. I don’t even want him near the squad. No one can convince me a good amount of his “errors” are not down to match fixing.
 
If he's ever in a United shirt again every single person who has anything to do with it i.e. our owner, manager, keeper coach, concierge, pilot who flew him back should be sacked on the spot. I said the same thing at the start of this season then he got a run out about Grimsby and was the sole reason for us going out the cup with 2 more howlers.

I think even when being serious and looking through the hyperbole above, there's genuinely a case for him being the worst PL goalkeeper of all time. Never quite seen such a low basic level for a professional keeper and such a consistent level of mistakes. How on earth he was Inter Milan's no.1 is crazy to me.

I disagree. I think he’ll leave us on loan at some point in August each year when a club has their goalkeeper ruled with a long term injury late in the window. Will that be Real Madrid, Eintracht Frankfurt, Lyon or whoever? Who knows. But before you laugh at the idea of the former, that’s exactly what happened with Kepa.
 
He'll get sold in the summer I reckon. Suspect the club are resigned to taking a hit on the transfer fee. Bayindir will probably go too and suspect Vitek will come back as No.2 unless he decides he wants out and we'll get another older Heaton style "No.3"
 
He's probably aiming for the 25% raise coming with CL qualification. The guy love his money so we'll probably be saddled with him till his contract expires

I'd take it a step further and say he's possibly the most incompetent player I have ever seen at United in a similar time scale. Not sure we've ever had anyone worse at his job to the point where you'd be forgiven for thinking its match fixing.

same, he conceded a ridiculous amount that looked a bit like “i need to make it look like im trying to keep this out”.
 
Sell him at a loss, dont let him become next season talking point . One mistake from lamens and I know stupid Neville will start asking if we should give Onana another chance.
 
I can't recall who Tony Coton (Utd goalkeeping scout) was recommending over Onana at the time. The club listened to the haag instead of Coton.

Apparently Coton really pushed hard for Lammens. Really pushed as he didnt want Utd to miss out on Lammens. Obviously Amorim wanted Martinez from villa. But this time the club listened to Coton.

A player's career is short and if I was in his boots I'd go somewhere were I can play. It's not like he's going to starve in a week time if he took that option. What I certainly won't do is buying the 'Fight for his place' BS. He knows that he's got no chance in winning a first team place and if he returns then it would be for the money
 
We'll be stuck with him until the end of his contract.

Nobody is going to be stupid enough to pay a fee and offer him better wages than us.

The best we can hope for is that he's loaned out with a club paying some of his wages.

A players career is short…then it would be for the money. Agree.

Doesn’t mean I want him to stay though. But it’s not his fault our top bosses bought him for silly money and big wages.

If I saw a breaking news headline on the guardian or BBC saying a Man Utd player was being investigated for match fixing my immediate first thought would be it's Onana.

Some of his mistakes last season were so incomprehensible it would make sense he was doing them on purpose.
 
We've had a crazy amount of turds that simply won't flush over the past 13 years.
 
I will never be convinced match-fixing wasn’t in play with him in goal. Atrocious at everything.
