Easily one of my most loathed United players.
The first Ziyech free kick away to Galatasaray and Gibbs White at OT are extremely suspicious.
Nah he’s just absolutely fecking shit.

Watch the Ziyech one, it’s impressive he gets it in the goal.Nah he’s just absolutely fecking shit.
A good agent would tell him to stay at United as long as possible and milk the contract for all it's worth since he won't be getting anywhere near it elsewhere. The b@stard comes back to us and gets a pay rise because we are in the CL.
That seems so ironic - given he was the no 1 cause of us not being in the CL and being knocked out early previously.
If the league are moving to a different financial model - then we might be able to bin him off early.
Does he have any dignity? He knows he has zero future at the club, and shouldn’t even come back to the UK.
Let’s hope he has a good agent.

That’s wrong. An agent acts on behalf of the player, and it’s not all about money.A good agent would tell him to stay at United as long as possible and milk the contract for all it's worth since he won't be getting anywhere near it elsewhere.

Does he want to play? Does he want a future? A good agent will find a solution to ensure that he can get his career back on track.

Absolutely not. Worst keeper we’ve had in my 50+ years of watching United and I’ve seen some rubbish for sure.Deserves a chance in cup games.

It’s The Mirror. So highly credible and reputable sauce. But I’ll take it!
If they pay for his airfare, I think we can get a deal.
Best case scenario is another season on loan at Trabzonspor with an obligation for around €5-10m. Decent chance he gets Sancho’d and just stays on loan til his contract expires. His book value is £20m. No chance anybody pays anything close to that.
Trabzonspor want to keep him next season, and their record signings are 7 and 6 million pound players signed this summer.
We might have to loan him back out again.
You’re right. He made it to a CL final. Originally I was thinking just sell him for 6 million to them but if we loan him elsewhere we could sell him for much more. His book value is £20m. No chance anybody pays anything close to that.

Sorry to double post but that fee could make sense for them but if he’s loaned elsewhere (desperate team for a goal keeper whether it’s Italy or Bundesliga) his value will be more than thatBest case scenario is another season on loan at Trabzonspor with an obligation for around €5-10m. And I don’t think he’s a match fixer, he’s just shit.
I do think there’ll always be a club somewhere in Europe that, through late transfer out or long term injury, suddenly needs a keeper and will take him on loan, however, I disagree on price. His wages are too high. He’s on over £150k a week, so no one is ever going to pay £15-20m for him and then give him a salary he’ll accept. Too much of a total financial commitment. It’s not like he’ll be signing for Real or Bayern.Sorry to double post but that fee could make sense for them but if he’s loaned elsewhere (desperate team for a goal keeper whether it’s Italy or Bundesliga) his value will be more than that
Thank our master scout ETHThe shittest keeper I’ve ever seen
Absolute joke that we signed him and it was never funny

Not clicking the link but is it the Trabonzspor president stating they can meet his financial demands? Reddit link belowhttps://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/man-utd-next-transfer-onana-37282465

Really?Good luck to him if he goes there, best thing for all concerned. I always thought he seemed a decent enough guy even if he was largely absolutely dreadful at his job.

When you factor in the costs financially and point wise, cup no exits etc because of his errors, then he’s the worst in my lifetimeA contender for worst ever signing.
£45m plus 150k a week for someone that plays like a non league player!
So many basic mistakes and errors. It's staggering that he played over 100 games in all competitions before he was binned off!
Really?
After laying onto Maguire when he was an easy target and after asking for a pay rise when it was almost entirely his fault we weren’t in the CL? Just a couple of examples, maybe he tells good jokes, he is a clown after all…
He is an absolute arse, and appalling at his job.
I agree. We've had some truly terrible signings with bad, but isolated, financial implications in the past (DVB, Sancho, Antony come to mind in recent years) but never has there been one who has wrecked havoc at so many levels and dragged down the team single handedly for multiple seasons. Whoever recommended and approved him should never have another job in football. When you factor in the costs financially and point wise, cup no exits etc because of his errors, then he’s the worst in my lifetime
Yep same. Taibi being binned after four games leaves less scars than watching two full seasons (and an unforgettable performance at Grimsby) of Onana.Worst United keeper in my lifetime and that's a lifetime that includes Taibi!
Knocked us out of a number of competitions and played a part in losing to Spurs in the EL final. Constantly kept getting beaten at his near post
Precisely. I can’t stand Sancho, but on the pitch he was a lukewarm bowl of “meh”.I agree. He's allowed to ask. We're allowed to tell him to feck off. Being delusional doesn't make you an arsehole, tbh it used to be almost mandatory for keepers.
This is why I rate him at the worst signing in our entire history.I agree. If he was binned immediately, he would still have been an expensive disaster - but not have been the root cause of train wreck after train wreck across two seasons.
I think his attitude towards teammates does show that.
What makes you think he’s a good chap?
I let him go on a one way bridge and he tried to flash his lights at me to say thanks but just left them on full beam.I think his attitude towards teammates does show that.

Surprised he didn't divert you into the river.I let him go on a one way bridge and he tried to flash his lights at me to say thanks but just left them on full beam.
Seems fitting; tried but useless.
