Ange Postecoglou | Sacked again, mate

Ah, finally - somebody has one of these tactical suicide screenshots and it's not us...

Apparently this was at 2-0 up.
That's actually crazy.

Why are people laughing? Surely this season will be suffering for Forest but once he gets a summer window and pre season then the good times will roll?

Can't judge him until he has had a few windows and some of his players in? Or is that only at United?

Swansea's last min goal was absolute quality. What a strike that was from Ethan Galbraith.

To be fair to him, I thought Forrest were going to struggle this season with or without Nuno. Last season was really an outlier and even then they collapsed at the very end. You don’t carry such forms into a new season.

They're currently curb stomping Betis in Sevilla so of course I expect they'll choke it away in the second half, somehow

Just brought one of his defensive midfielders off for a winger so aye maybe

In fairness, Betis has been dominating the second half

And it's redcafe's favourite son who scored

Why does he keep taking that Igor Jesus off? Scored 2 in the first half last week in the Carabao, off at half time. 2 again in the first half tonight, off after 64 mins. Not like he's been playing league matches and is tired.

Forest fans must be climbing the walls at the decision made to replace Nuno with Ange.

He could take them down, he seriously could.

Am I right in saying big Anges Premier league record the last year is even worse than Ruben Amorim?
Point wise, it’s the same 1 point per game. At least Spurs could score goal at decent rate. They had injury crisis in the defense as an excuse. Us under Amorim just plain bad even with few injuries.

Delighted - can’t stand this idiot. Horrible bloke and incredibly poor manager. Amorim giving him a major trophy was a sackable offence

The point where he will never be in the discussions for a Premier League job again will come a lot faster than expected. I think he should have reached that point about 4 months before he won that Europa League, but there is a cognitive dissonance going on when it comes to trophies. The story behind that trophy should not warrant another job on the highest level, yet Forest are pretty much gambling their Premier League status on him being less shit with a worse squad than the one had last year on the account of him stumbling upon said trophy

So he's lost 3-0 against Arsenal, 3-2 in the Cup against Swansea, drawn 1-1 with Burnley, drawn 2-2 with Betis (after leading 2-0), and now lost 1-0 at home to Sunderland.

They're going to sack him before we sack Amorim, aren't they?
Has a high chance of probability that. Other clubs have this magic ability of sensing when a manager is hampering their team that our club doesn't seem to have.

The big question is whether he can buy himself a year by convincing the board that he is doing some advanced rebuild that takes time and money.

He just needs to keep repeating that he will win a trophy in his 2nd season. No one needs to know that he meant Championship.

Not entirely sure why Forest binned Nuno and went for this guy. They've unnecessarily changed something that was working and was getting them results. More fool them, tbh.

Looks like they're getting killed on set pieces but otherwise ok? Not watching the game, going purely based off of twitter takes

He took a much more talented Spurs squad to 17th, he will take Forest down. Sunderland and Leeds have something about them. He is way, way out of his depth.

A trophies a trophy, you can only beat what’s in front of you and all that…his Europa league was of the most fortunate trophy wins you’ll see. Bodo in the semis and playing us in the final.

Back to injuring his CBs too, both main ones injured and he has just arrived.

Meanwhile, VdV hasn’t missed a game for Spurs this season. He is genuinely awful and so stubborn.

Forest’s decline is going to see them beat us on 1st Nov - Ruben’s last game in charge. Ange to once again out-think his opposition number.
