As far as I am aware there is no option on Reddit to reply to multiple posts with one quote so it isn’t unreasonable at all. He was attacked after highlighting a legitimate issue and he responded to people attacking him.

Pretty much. It doesn’t cost anything to great a subreddit or discord server. The fact they spun out a full website and started a podcast means they want to earn money. They have not gotten to that level yet but it’s clear they want to start making money off this.
