95/96 who flicks the ball to Cole? ---- Pallister
96/97 who was fouled for Beckham's free kick against Southampton in 3-6 loss? ---- ?
98/99 who was fouled for Beckham's free kick v Leicester on 15th August 1998 (2-2) ---- Beckham himself
98/99 same as above v Barcelona on 16th September 1998 (3-3) ---- Yorke
98/99 again Beckham with free kick, who was fouled this time against Brondby on 4th November 1998 (5-0 win) ---- Cole
98/99 who was fouled for Beckham's free kick v Everton on March 19th 1999 (3-1 win) ---- Johnsen
98/99 There's also one more Beckham's free kick that I cannot yet find online, it was on 1st May 1999 v Aston Villa, we won 2-1. Anyone with memory on who was fouled then? ---- ?

04/05 28th September 2004 v Fenerbahçe (champions league), who was fouled for Rooney's free kick (his third goal of the night)?

Can anyone help me identify player with the header for the first goal (McClair's rebound), and who delivered the corner kick for Bruce's awesome header? That's season 1988-89.

Not altogether helpful, but something. The only thing I can say is that when the ball goes out for the corner our number 8 runs off as though to take it. However he seems to join the goal celebrations a shade too quick to have run from the corner flag?

Trouble is, I don't recognise the player...

This was the line-up at the time. Yeah, I believe Beardsmore couldn't make it back that fast, and anyway Duxbury in the bottom heads towards presumably corner taker. Think those striken through couldn't be takers. Donaghy and Martin, really doubt them, haven't seen them yet taking corners, so, it's between Sharpe and Blackmore in my opinion.

I think I see Sharpe joining celebrations as well, moments after that Milne as well, so it has to be Blackmore, right? Right?


Just finished watching last season I'm doing, 1987-88, first real Fergie's season. Missing players fouled for three McClair's penalties, and for one Colin Gibson's free kick. Video goes directly to penalty/free kicks. :x

Long shot probably, but maybe someone will remember who was fouled for those. And if they do, maybe they'll remember the same for Colin Gibson's free kick against West Ham United!
