For those without international duties over past weeks, they have to be back on training on 27 June, which is next week.

You can fix fitness, but you can't fix a poor touch. And for all his faults, Shaw's touch is now the best at the club imo (with Mata having left). He's so outrageously talented, it's absolutely infuriating that no manager seems to have been able to match his skill with application and performance for any decent period of time.

If he starts, our left-sided attacker improves, no questions.

I'm no sports science expert but working out in 40° heat i.e. too hot to work out, probably isn't the best idea.

Luke go train where it's possible to do a high intensity session without passing out.

Nor is wearing black when it's so hot either... Although, that's probably to hide his tub.

You know that they will be training in Bangkok in a couple of weeks right? It's not the temperature that's kills you, it the humidity.

I was in Dubai this past weekend, definitely way too hot for too much physical exertion outside. Temperatures late 30s to early 40s but with the humidity, feels a lot closer to 50. Bangkok ought to be a bit better.

Not sure what your point is.

Agree than Bangkok isn't ideal either.

What a relief Pogba isn’t our problem this year. Wondering when he’ll come back from him 12 holidays, all of which are a month long

Don’t know if anyone remembers the summer we signed him? Should have been a warning.

It would be interesting to see the mood in the training ground and I hope ETH give an open training session sometime in the season for fans to watch the team train show support.

Looking at the first team squad it looks as though these are the players due back on Monday (plus other youngsters) with the rest returning at a later date.

Keepers: DDG, Heaton and Henderson (if his move isn't confirmed)

Defenders: Jones, Shaw, AWB, Williams, Tuanzebe

Midfielders: Andreas, Van De Beek, Garner

Forwards: Amad, Martial, Rashford and Sancho

It'll be a big week for Garner and Amad. Probably Laird also.

I think a lot of our hesitation in the transfer market is because EtH wants to take a look at them first hand before asking for replacements.

Great for some of this lot to have a smaller squad for these sessions as the coaches and manager can have a close look at them

Didn't Lindelof withdraw from Sweden squad due to injury, so he might be back even if only for treatment.
