Arne Slot | ex-Liverpool manager | The Bald sack watch is over

Aging players and shit injured signings not really his fault (unless he wanted those players I don't know). Liverpool fans just thought they were going to relive the glory years and have got entitled.
The smugness from Liverpool fans after last season was insufferable. To spend all that money, and follow it up with this type of season is absolutely glorious.

Yep. I guess there is a debate as to whether CL qualification always means a manager should be given the benefit of the doubt. I think Klopp finished 5th for them one season after winning the league IIRC and was trusted.

The question for their next manager is what to do with their squad. Are Etitke and Isak going to recover and get back to what they were before? Were their signings just awful or is it the system/manager not getting the best out of them? Personally I hope this is a downward spiral for them but there are one or two good players still there.

My hopeful scenario is that Alonso goes to Chelsea, Slot stays and gets sacked in the first few months of the next season and they hire Slippy G.
How are they letting Alonso go to Chelsea and keep the replica of Eric Ten Hag :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
Because apparently the data suggests Slot can do a better job and is a better fit for them.

Liverpool are summoning the ghosts of Rodgers, Dalglish and Hodgson. Exercising those old demons, and I couldn't be happier

Liverpool are really really fecking bad.

I'd love to believe Slot will still be manager next season but surely not? They'd be insane to keep him.

Ah lovely. always enjoyable to see Liverpool in the mud. They've been so poor this season from start to finish.

If they hadn't luckily won a bunch of games back in August & September while playing poorly, they'd be in midtable.

They’re actually in big trouble here for champions league. United and Leeds have nothing to play for, and Brentford are playing for Europe. Brighton could jump over them.

They must be getting perilously close to sacking him

Would be a shame if we played some youngsters vs Brighton and our bogey team got a result vs them

Embarrising from Pool players to let down such a good tactical genius. Probably old Klopp guard doesn't want Slot to beat their "Klopper" .
Feel sorry for him, hope he gets at least one more year.

They are in big trouble, squad is so poor.
Their midfield is very good technically but their defence looks terrible. Add to that, their injured forwards and fullbacks not performing, they could be in trouble. Big summer for them. Hopefully they waste another half a billion.

The parallels with Ten Hag are there. Massive spend to put together one of the least athletic squads in the league. Both won trophies, but at what cost?

I think their midfield is the issue, it can’t compete athletically and leaves them woefully exposed.

His sacking is inevitable, performances have never been good, even last season, but now results are poor too. Think they’ll keep him this summer, but have this awful feeling they’ll sack him mid next season and wait until the summer and get Luis Enrique.

It's amazing how similar to ETH Slot is.

Liverpool look so slow and weak, it's just like we looked under ETH. Whenever a game opens up they just can't cope.

Well that's Arne out. Was it Alonso's team that put out the Chelsea rumours this week? Well played.

To be fair, I doubt Slot had much say regarding transfers, so that makes it more alarming.

Murtough gave ETH free rein to waste money on Onana and Anthony.
