we could say that about Sir Alex as well, why he survived initial 7 years.
With apologies to @SteveJ...

I’m a bit shocked by the lack of comments on their lack of fixtures. They have played one game a week for practically the entire season.

If they start next season with the same minimal squad as they have now, they’ll finish 5th at best. European qualification from the groups is no given either but the luck of the draw can be nice or horrible.

Articles like this should be reserved for ANY manager after a decent amount of time.

Very poorly timed bit of writing and none of what I am saying is meant as a slight on Arteta or Arsenal for what is a good season.

That's like saying if Utd and Leicester weren't so shit this season.
No it isn't There is a very clear difference between Tottenham before and after they hired Conte. Leicester have had the same manager all season, and we've been dog**** regardless of who has been on the touchline.

If we weren't so shit this season Ars top 4 dreams would be over in March. Then there's Leicester who's also been absolute shite this season.
Arteta's lucky that they had nothing but the premier league top 4 to play for since end of January. He's had players fresh for every round since then while other teams were still playing in cups.

How is that relevant? How many years it took us to sack Mourinho?

It's also funny that you mention him outspending everyone else last summer when the consensus pretty much everywhere was that we'd had a shit window and overspent on average players.
One’s a fact and one is an opinion.

Balague is the most evident biased journalist around. The way he fought against Everton fans to protect Benitez was funny. No wonder he really likes Arteta as he is spanish and was Pep's assistant.

Did we need to start a new thread for Arteta bashing, we already have 1 for that?

There are few things in football more satisfying than Ballbag being so hilariously wrong.

Yes, definitely Jesus if by Jesus we mean the poor little lady from next door having her second mid-life crisis and looking for her hubby‘s attention, who chooses to watch all of her favourite Patrick Swayze films again and decides to get the Demi Moore shave only to end up looking like a hardcore 80s lesbian with too much mascara. Then yes, definitely.

I'm not particularly concerned about Arsenal, I don't see them ever getting close to the title and even in our worst season in decades we weren't far off bettering them for 4th. We'll brush Arsenal aside with ease next season if Ten Hag improves us even a little bit. I'd be more worried about Spurs at this point as Conte is far better than Arteta
