TBH, Id rather see him than Darmian at this point. I think hes got a good cross on him too when hes on the right.
A little harsh. he's had some great games for us over the years, and scored a few blistering goals, but a bit like Jones, always got hurt when he was on a bit of a run in the team.If only we'd known to convert him to full back 5-6 years ago, we would have been saved his abject performances on the wing and would have gained a decent player.
Thought he would start in this match when the draw was made and as said, didn't let the team down. Did his job well.
Yeah he seems to be our best cover RB atm.Whenever I think about his performance in Europa League, I feel that we can still use him as a Valencia's cover next season. We should offer him one or two more years contracts. I don't see it's necessary to spend a lot of money on another right back next season when there are other positions that we need to cover them up first with a lot of cash.
Hes basically shit.A fighter with lots of heart but from an attacking point of view he is very limited.
And now the second!First assist of the season tonight, and a crucial one too.
Yes - love his work rate and passion. Perfect sqaud playerClass above Darmian, hope he stays as a backup fullback.
Massive difference between being a LWB in that formation than a LB in a 4-man defense. I don't think he's good with 4 at the back but as a wing back he's fine. He's very good in a more defensive position, noticed this in a few games under LvG when we had a fullback crisis. Probably our best option for LB/LWB.
I don't think we've really given it a chance other than the odd game with LvG where he's impressed, I'd trust him over the likes of Darmian and Shaw at the moment.Massive difference between being a LWB in that formation than a LB in a 4-man defense.
