What gives you the indication? Is it that he agreed to sign a new deal with RM or the fact RM does not want to sell but absolutely want to keep as does their new manager?
Because he’s a 30 million player that would be on 300k/week. I love the two midfielders that we’ve signed so far, and it shows that there are smart deals to be made out there - Tchouameni is not that.

He's a good pure DM with only one playing mode. People wanted to sign him hoping we will just tell him to be more expansive, take more risks, but this isn't really his game. He does the simple things very well but would we be happy with this for extreme fee and wages? Really doubt it.
