a positive surprise this kid. He’s been playing very well. He doesn’t seem to be pressured. He has lots of composure and aggression. Played very well tonight
 
Heaven looks solid, I think we got a gem on our hands. We are so lucky that he leaves Arsenal to join us. Looks great every time he starts a game. Future is looking bright.
 
Did very well with his box defending tonight and is smooth on the ball.

Where he will have to learn and develop is playing in a higher line and controlling the space better. It is where he has struggled previously but most young CB's do.

Plenty of potential there.
 
That was very, very good. He seems to have a real knack for luring an attacker in when facing our goal and then casually turn away from them getting us back on the front foot.

It's great to see him tested in this sort of backs to the wall display as well.
 
Love how good he is when getting the ball under pressure. every time he easily faked a touch an changed direction. Brilliant tonight.
 
Great game from him. We need to play him and Yoro as much as possible, they have good chances to be part of the future.
 
Superb game, a rock in the centre clearing loyts of crosses. Composed on the ball, hes suddenly a better prospect than Yoro

Yep, great balance. Can shape his body, drop the shoulder and send someone the wrong way very easily. Looks like he's really trying to engage in the air properly as well.

If he keeps this up, he'll be an absolutely blinding signing for the money.
 
He was fantastic tonight, best centre back performance we've had in a good while.
 
He' got everything you want in a top centre-back: height, pace, composure, passing, even dribbling. Still not 100% sure he won't have a mistake in him, but what a talent - all the tools to become a complete CB.

Can hardly say that about any CB in this league. Thiaw has been blinding and he's dropped some massive clangers.
 
So good today. I love how he turns with the ball to create space when running towards goal, rather than simply passing it back to the keeper. His performance today was reminiscent of the player we saw last season.
 
Big performance from him tonight, he's had a few shaky games with poor defensive play but cut the mistakes out tonight.

You know how it is on the internet. Yoro is a cracking prospect, but it seems as though young players aren't allowed to have bad spells of form without wholesale verdicts being placed on them.
 
I feel like he is going to be a top, top player and we got him for a pittance.

More showing young players there is a way through at United and getting a few gems on the cheap please!
 
Lovely performance tonight.

He’s young, so he’ll make mistakes. So it’s important people remember tonight and what he’s capable of next time he has a poor game.

As a young signing with the eyes on long term, he’s looking like a gem.

You can see that all that time he played as a midfielder coming through the ranks has helped with his composure on the ball. Hopefully as his confidence grows he will get even better and better at playing those balls through into midfield. He was a man on a mission tonight.

Absolutely agree with this. Let’s hope for 2 great talents coming through. Yoro has had a couple of poor weeks, but he has also shown enough to be excited about a future star.

Colossal performance. Shocking to think that was a defensive performance of a 19 year old.

He was in a 4 against Bournemouth, which was a disastrous game for him. He was great in a 4 and in a 3 tonight.

Not everything has to be about the system, this is a young player learning from mistakes and knuckling down.
 
It was a 1m very well spent. Brilliant today, flawless performance

He reminded me of de Ligt while he was captaining Ajax at 19. Similar level of performance
