More bravery on the ball than nearly all of our expensive front players.
Was that rumoured to be partly why he left Arsenal (he saw himself developing more as a midfielder)?I think he’s a got a real chance of being a top CM.
I’m not overly convinced by him at CB. This could be another Declan Rice situation imo.
He was good but two of Wolves better opportunities came from his naive/inexperienced play and on another day could have been at fault for a few goals. First when their striker pushed him away and bullied him for the header which went over in the first half, and he got pinned wrong side for the chance where Lammens made the double save.Thought he was very good tonight but obviously wasn't playing on his natural side which didn't help him. Yoro offered more balance in that regard.

I thought it was the opposite. I thought he played in midfield at Arsenal but preferred Centre Back. Memory can be fickle, though. No idea but he plays like a midfielder who’s been put out of position at CB.
Heaven already had a dip. They all do. We need to be better about rotating them in and out. They are both players who need time and patience. Heaven in particular - a player who has less than 15 first team games. All these positive comments, worth keeping in mind Yoro was getting the same this time last season. Yoro now getting heavily criticised.
Heaven will have a dip like Yoro is. Inevitable with a young CB.

Yoro has more than 100. They both have a long way to go.
Why on earth would he of all players move to midfield. Someone like Martinez would be a better fit. Heaven's passing is just abotu good for CB, but in midfield we need much higher standard, you have much less time and play different passes, under more pressure. With our lack of available midfielders and forwards yesterday, I wonder if we would have been better off moving him into midfield. He's certainly better on the ball than the rest we had out there.
True. Had forgotten about Martinez at the time of posting! Why on earth would he of all players move to midfield. Someone like Martinez would be a better fit. He did indeed, love the guy.Despite his role in the conceded goal, he had another very good game.
So do old players, Gabriel only yesterday. That's the thing with young players, they make mistakes. But that's his only mistake in like 3 games. So I can let that slide. He and Yoro need to keep pushing each other to be better.
He wouldn't get the game time considering the options they have in that position. He's looking like the real deal. How could Arsenal let such a talent go.
Well saidPity about the goal , other than that he was having another good game.
Young players are going to make mistakes and learn on the job , hopefully the experience gained today means he won't make that mistake again.
Yep, Just caught napping..played very well otherwiseWas a standout motm candidate until the leeds goal, he made a slight misjudgement in the threat but no other defender was anywhere near to help. Hes becoming a very good centre back and has a big future here.
