Keane's capataincy is thoroughly deserved. A great rallier of the troops when things are going wrong his influence on the other players can turn a game on its head. One of the most influential capatains i have seen in the game. No matter what is happening on the pitch even if we are cruising he is still commanding and making sure mistakes aren't made.

Anyway, Keane is our captain because he inspires the team even when he isn't on the pitch. If it were possible to have a non-playing captain in football, Roy Keane would be the first one.
