195 cm with electrifying pace. This will en good.

As a Slovenian this still feels surreal to me. Quietly wished this move since he started to emerge on the scene but never really thought it would materialize. The potential is crazy but so is the risk of flopping, for his and our sake really hope he can be the player to bring us back to the top. All the best Benjamin!

Long time coming this. It's exciting to see it happen

Best of luck to him. Just hope he lives up to his expectations. It’s an area of the team that we have struggled with for a couple of seasons now.

Lads he hasn’t played yet. Don’t spam the performance thread with non performance chat. Use the welcome thread in the United forum

Man Utd 0:1 Arsenal
Not enough time but had a decent couple of moments. Big fecker and held the ball up well a couple of times. Good to have someone who can properly challenge serially.

Neither here nor there. Give him a couple of weeks to get settled before properly evaluating imo.

Can see why he was la arses first choice . A weeks training with the lads will be extremely helpful for him.

Didn't feed him a single cross amad had it on the right so many times too

Didn't get much to work with. Is it me or does he look like he's put on some muscle already? Either that or I didn't realise he was such a big fecker. Thought he was of a slimmer build.

Don't see it that much with him, seems like a huge lump and will help if he can keep the ball and if Mbeumo/Cunha can score off him.

Doubt he will score plenty, have we ever had such a striker that succeeded?

Ibra has a similar frame but was a technical creative genius at it at the same time.

Quite liked that bit of chest control and the lay off for Ugarte's wild shot.

Liked that he would bust a lung to get in the box, but no good crosses were put in for him to attack. Hopefully we focus on feeding him because I think it's part of what broke Hojlund and made him so shit on and off the ball.

Was a bit dissapointed aerially, he lost quite a few headers. He does have nice feet though, that half volley pass with Saliba(?) on his back was lovely.

Hopefully will get time to bed in properly and bag a goal for confidence in the coming weeks.

Not sure why this thread is even active - he's been here a week, barely trained and came on for 25 minutes.

He's an absolute fecking monster physically, he's rapid as well.

He looks strong and seems to have great acceleration. Really excited to see what he can do.

Didn't feed him a single cross amad had it on the right so many times too
Just baffles me how stupid football teams can be.

Spent the whole game trying to be intricate to no success, and didn't occur to them to whip some crosses in to one of the biggest CF aerial threats in the game.

Does no one on the pitch have a brain? Does the coach not give instructions?

Looked completely lost in the system and wasn't able to find any pockets of space to exploit against a strong defence. Amorim throwing the kitchen sink with Maguire up top wasn't helpful either. I reckon we'll only be able to fairly assess him after a couple more weeks.

Amad had a few chances to cross it and didn’t. But we didn’t get any short passes to him because most the team kept passing to the skipper.

Why we didn’t aim for him in the box I’ll never know. Guys an absolute unit

Amad Cunha Bruno and Mbeumo need to feed him non stop. Especially Amad failed to find him many times

Had a few encouraging moments against the best defence in the league. A week of training will do him well.

Need the ball into the box quicker, we need better technical players deeper. Mbeumo, Cunha and Sesko are live wires, it's Bruno or Amad or we lose possession. There was a passage of play where it went from De Ligt to Ugarte to Maguire to Dorgu and not one of them technically can open up and cross the ball.

Sesko looks a handful, the two centre backs looked more worried with him on.

Didn’t have that fairytale debut you always hope for but chasing the game against a tough defence is hardly ideal conditions.

He’s a unit though, that’s a plus. Decent little backheel there too.

We stopped crossing balls in to the box once he came on it was bizarre.

Made the most of a couple of speculative balls up to him, not much else to write home about.

Hopefully he has a start against Fulham to show what he's about.

Looking forward to seeing how him, Mbeumo and Cunha link up from the start.

I must admit I didn't like how he looks like one of those big strikers that backs into their man rather than jumping for the ball, but aerial duels might just not be his thing.
