Mental how people were writing him off in the first 3-4 months of the season. What made it particularly bemusing was he wasn’t even that bad, he’d get one chance a match and miss and people would lose their shit.
His talent has been obvious to see from the start. Early on his general gameplay was pretty good and his scoring was down, now it’s the opposite but in time he is going to put it all together.

I’ve been crying out for that type of goal, and it’s mostly been down to a lack of good crosses. Great tool to have for the side.

Get him on pens, we put so much unnecessary pressure on our strikers redirecting easy goals away from them.

What an exceptional header that is. Well done young man, pressure amped up given the starting position, yet he still won us the game.
Prior to his goal, I was exasperated with his first touch. He lost two balls in transition but then that header makes up for it. Benching him actually helped him improve drastically. Shows his mental strength. A different player would have given up. Kudos to him.
