It's fecking daft at this point. He's got a bigger in our starting XI than any of the the other players anyway, surely he's worth just investing the minutes into? Let alone the fact he makes things happens when he's on the pitch

I don’t get get the fluidity argument, I think we’re much more fluid with Sesko’s hold up play and his link up is really good.
Sesko has been in phenomenal form ever since Amorim was sacked. I remember the game against Burnley under Fletcher where we looked like a menace in front bagging two goals, scored against Brighton as well in the FA cup loss. His reward was being glued to the bench playing 9 minutes in the next two games under Carrick.
Ever since then every time he is introduced he looks like a handful to the oppo defenses and having the best goals per minute ratio in the league as well. Both Amad and Mbuemo have been in horrendous form during this period. The former even has to play OOP where he is clearly struggling, but there is still no place for Sesko in the starting eleven.
It is bad management from Carrick in my opinion. Seems like he just don't like him for some reason, similar to Amorim and Mainoo.

Offers nothing when he starts , really want him to do well but he is so meek for such a big man.
Unfortunately for him we are a better team with him as the sub option, but a bit of luck and he scores a couple tonight.

I think we need an experienced striker that he can learn from.
Look at big strikers like Mateta, Jimenez, DCL they know how to use their bodies to bully defenders.. Sesko for his size loses so many duals

Then how come Casemiro gets on several each game. Sesko is better of the bench. His hold up play isn’t good enough to be a starter for us yet.
There really is a dearth of talented forward players out there. Mbappe, Haaland, Alvarez.. aaaand that's it.
Missed two good chances, in fact, the one at the beginning of the 2nd half was a golden chance. He scores that I think we go on to get a point at the very least.

Like playing with 10, 9 men. He doesn’t press well; his link up is arbitrary at best. He can’t do anything on his own. But I die agree on starting him. Young striker - he will have off games.

Was very unlucky in the 2nd half when he beat Bijol and Darlow was able to save and defenders cleared it off the line. Something out of nothing.

Didn't play well, but it's generally a good sign when you see your CF getting chances even when not playing well.
