David Brekalo and Benjamin Šeško will not be available for this national team campaign and the friendly matches against Hungary and Montenegro.
The medical service of the Slovenian national football team has assessed the health of football players David Brekalo and Benjamin Šeško. The assessment showed that David Brekalo has a calf muscle injury, which currently prevents him from training and playing football to the fullest extent. In Benjamin Šeško, doctors have diagnosed a minor injury, which also prevents him from training and playing at full capacity.
In both cases, rehabilitation will be required, the duration of which exceeds the time of this national team activities. Brekalo and Šeško will continue their treatment and recovery in their home clubs. The national team wishes both football players successful treatment and a speedy recovery.
