He’s gonna be a competent forward for us. Doesn’t have the extraordinary finishing ability you’d like, but his overall skillset is fine.
You think he can get 15-20 PL goals in pretty poor United side, in his first season in the league, as a 22 year old... But also don't really rate his potential? Doesn't really add up.Is there? I watched him play for so long that I don't think there is much more to tap.
Still should be good enough for 15-20 goals a season.
Hojlund can play. One memorable one I can recall was against City last December. He played a very good through ball for Bruno, but Bruno failed to covert the one vs one opportunity. 1:24 in this highlight.Yes, that was the one moment I was annoyed at him. Thought he did well apart from that. You can see his overall play is a level above Rasmus. I don't think Rasmus would have played that delicate little through ball to put Cunha through on goal for example.
They're different players so... Also I dont think he lacks techical ability, on the contrary.Still early days but not impressed by him so far. Strong in the air but no other elite qualities. Ekitike produced a few surging runs today which I think Sesko would struggle to make. Lacks acceleration and technical ability.
Yes, I think he is a really good striker already. I just don't think that there is much potential left to improve further. You think he can get 15-20 PL goals in pretty poor United side, in his first season in the league, as a 22 year old... But also don't really rate his potential? Doesn't really add up.
That would be a really good return, it's the most difficult league, not many players hit over 20.
Very harsh. That was one crap cameo. As I’ve said with him before, he has some good natural qualities but at this level, he needs to tighten his game. You need to be more assured and reliable in your control, split second decision making, passing etc all of which has been very inconsistent from his end. He’s obviously young and has never played in a league of this standard so we need to afford him that leeway.
He was good against Sunderland but not so great last night. Thought for a guy his size, he was being bullied off the ball quite easily. Still early days though and hopefully he gets better over time as his ability was clearly visible against Sunderland
Spot on really, I felt the same, willing him to start running with the ball at them. Although one time he did slow things down be played a great ball to Cunha. He's clearly still finding his feet. I feel there were times when I wanted him to be more brave. To drive at Liverpools backline like Cunha does and put them under pressure.
He's got the physical tools and skills to succeed at United. I'd just like to see a little more self-belief and selfishness to his game like he showed in Germany. I feel that will come with time.
If you look at Ekitike -- the minute he came on he was blasting the ball at the goal (ok, he missed by a mile), but he's someone who also played in Germany but has hit the ground running in the Prem. That's just natural confidence and once Sesko finds that he'll become a far more dangerous player for us.

The one time he tried he ended up with a yellow card as the rewardhe doesn't seem to be very physical
