Putting everything into consideration, his age, transitioning to one of the biggest teams in the world in the worlds most demanding league, thrown straight in at the deep end in a brand new formation, he's performing very well. He's had 2 goals and an assist in 5 starts but his all round link up play, hold up play and aerially presence has been evident to see to anyone who has actually watched our full games.
It's quite obvious he's room for improvement and I'm confident it'll come. Most importantly he looks like he's enjoying his football and being part of the team. When you've players for Mbeumo and Cunha behind you, you're probably not ever going to hit crazy numbers in terms of goals but the work you do off the ball to help those flourish is massive.
