He’s not going to make it at this level, it’s already evident.
Is the evidence in the room with us?

We have seen nowhere near enough of him to make any sort of judgement. I thought he came on and looked decent; got involved, technically got an assist. Lets wait till the end of the year maybe before deciding if the lad can play or not.

On the back of an injury I thought him and Mainoo did well to change the game and bring us to 4-3 personally. Without them I doubt we'd have even been in that position.

Yep. He was a one man band in a moment where they all should have been breaking their necks to get forwards. Odd bastards
I just couldn't understand it. I think we needed a goal at that point, I can't remember now and they just did nothing. Like what the feck was that. Did they really expect Sesko to get past 3 defenders ahead of him. Some idiots man.

I am worried about his first touch and even more worried that he doesn't have the instinct to accelerate towards the 6 yard box when a cross is almost coming in.

Not a strong finisher, loose touch, and can't dribble? I don't think he has the tools to work in the Prem.

Might be another Depay situation where he can thrive in a lower league, but look awful here.

I thought he looked sharp, powerful and a handful when he came on. Hes going to be great, 100% glad hes back.
Agreed. He doesn't seem great at dribbling so there were one or two times where he needed to just knock it past the defender and trust his pace to get there first. Otherwise I thought it was a promising return.

So far this season he's looked at least as good, if not a bit better, than Hojlund did in his first season, and far far better than Hojlund did in his second.

The negative comments seem a bit unfair, he seemed quite threatening when he came on despite being rusty and according to reports ill.

I’d like to see us play a hybrid 442/433 with Cunha joining him as the two then they can rotate with one coming deeper and the other stretching the opposition defence

A single completed pass and losing all duels in 30 mins isn't a good cameo however way you look at it. Would have been an absolutely hopeless appearance if not for his fluke assist. No point going hard in on a rusty player returning from injury though.

Young guy, new club, new country, new language, picks up a knock, how about a smidgeon of patience..?

After all, we do want him to succeed don't we..?

Can’t believe people are still knocking Sesko. We missed him when he was injured, and he injected some lift into us when he came on half fit yesterday. He’s not banging in the goals or assists yet but think we’ve got a serious player on our hands when he settles in and gains some confidence

We haven’t seen enough to make any sort of conclusion - good or bad.

Not seeing it with him. No sense of an upgrade and you just never expect him to score.
Should have had a couple today but another blank. Quite worrying.

Frustrated with him today. Should've scored in the first half and didn't do enough to impose himself in the second half. I think he's a better player than Hojlund by some distance personally but at some point you need to start putting the ball in the net or at least make things happen. Wish he was more aggressive and fiery.

Doesnt seem a upgrade on Hoijlund yet.
Hojlund scored 16 goals in his first season. I'd be surprised if Sesko manages 6 (2 so far). Can't wait to hear the litany of excuses about how he showed "good movement" or something though.

He doesn’t look like a 20 goal a season striker to me.

Just not seeing it with him.

It took Hojlund until boxing day to score in the league and half his goals were in the champions league, so there’s your excuse.

I was never convinced before he was signed, and nothing he has shown so far makes me believe he will be a United no.9 for years.

Horrendous, how is he a striker? Who saw him and said “wow, he is a finisher!”

Would love to see what a confident version of him looks like in the EPL. Might never found out!

You know it already:

New league, new team, new country, new barber, new air, new landlord.

Will get the litany of excuses this season, which maybe he should given the circumstances, but he’s also been poor whenever he’s played, and we aren’t seeing any of those ‘technical’ qualities on display yet. I’m never quite sure if the ball will stick to him or not, and definitely never sure if he’ll get on the end of things.

Very timid striker. He's our most imposing player physically yet he seems to vanish on the pitch. How can you be so unassertive yet hope to be our leading number 9. When watching him i get the feeling he's happy to let others step up while he stands back in the distance. I don't think I've heard him bark at his teammates on the pitch or even have a little nasty side about him. He has no personality on the pitch and when he gets a chance even he doesn't think he can score. With the chances he's had this season he should be on about 6-7 PL goals. Zero hunger to score, doesn't strike fear into opponents. At this rate he won't survive in the PL.

Doesn’t need to be, if he can get 15 goals and gel the front line he’ll be doing well.
We certainly offered zero threat after he went off. Glad to see him back from injury and sickness and looking forward to him getting back up to the pace.
