Ben Jacobs on The United Stand is saying he believes that Sesko to United may still have legs in it
Has there been Leizpig links for Antony? Must’ve missed it.If Leipzig are actually interested in Antony, it would be great to see some creative PSR dealings with him going to Leipzig and Sesko coming here. Agree on valuations for each and then both teams pay an agreed amount over those valuations. Nets out for both teams. Sesko’s still raw, but he’s an elite athlete and would be a good fit for Amorim’s system IMO. Unfortunately, I think Leipzig will want far too much for him
Talks with Arsenal never progressed because they apparently wanted at least 90m euro fixed.
I don't see Newcastle - or really anybody else bar maybe Saudi clubs, to which he reportedly doesn't want to go - getting anywhere near that. I think he'll stay another year unless RBL comes down significantly on the price.
He is the 2 am fatty?
PS: Sorry if that's considered offensive these days. It's not me, it's rimaldo.
He adds more than goals, he isn’t a Hojlund type of striker (useless if he’s not scoring) despite his size and is ideal for Amorim’s system. However, it’s a fee that’s definitely based on potential and as someone who follows Slovenian football, I’ve been consistent in multiple threads that he’s still fairly raw.OK I'll put it another way. In our position spending a mega fee (70m+) on a striker who finished a full BL season on 13 goals would be insanity. People here love hype though
He really isn't.I get the feeling with Sesko that he's either asking a lot, or his club are trying to fleece anyone coming in for him. Can't see any reason why he wouldn't be the subject of a few bids otherwise. He's probably the best prospect out there.

I’m surprised Leipzig are pricing him out of a move, but teams are desperate for a striker so it makes sense that they’re trying to squeeze out what they can. I suspect he’s happy to stay and develop for an extra year too.
Cunha, Mbeumo, and Amad behind this guy would score us some goals.
Some goals - that’s a high bar…
Berta convinced Arteta. Plus Sesko price is very high and apparently he wanted huge wages plus a release clause fee added to the contract for 'bigger' clubs.Still find Arsenal pivoting from this guy to a completely different kind of striker bizarre.
Isn’t he meant to be shit? Correct me if I’m wrong might be confusing him. Jacob’s that isBen Jacobs on The United Stand is saying he believes that Sesko to United may still have legs in it
Good in the air, fast, carries the ball well. He is technically sound compared to Hojlund who has trouble trapping the ball.Really? Like what?

Most irritating transfer related term of this summer..."pivoting".
Please stop this.
It's been overused to death, this summer in particular. How about pick up a thesaurus and try to be creative?Again, people getting irritated by normal terms. How else would you describe it?
Haven't been linked to PL return for Kane yetSo we are supposed to go from Delap to Osimhen to Gyokores to Etikeke to DCL to Watkins to Jackson and now Sesko? Hmm... Which ST we haven't been linked with?
Yeah... Why not? We have 100m in a box under the sofa.Haven't been linked to PL return for Kane yet
Hmmm maybe worth playing the waiting game then not that I believe Jacobs when he says it has legsI think he wants to go and I believe as the window goes on RB will be more flexible with price. Arsenal seem to have got fed up of waiting.
Sesko must feel like the 4/10 waiting to be snapped up when the lights go up.

I wanted him when he was leaving Salzburg as he would have cost a lot less. Anything above 45m for him is madness. The success rate of Bundesliga attackers in recent years is appaling to add to worries. He really isn't.
I'm again and again baffled by the admiration he receives on here.
Its not like we have signed another unproven striker for almost the same amount before.Signing an unproven striker from the Bundesliga for £80m. What could go wrong?
