He's probably only worth around half of that right now and you're basing a chunk of that on potential.

He adds more than goals, he isn’t a Hojlund type of striker (useless if he’s not scoring) despite his size and is ideal for Amorim’s system. However, it’s a fee that’s definitely based on potential and as someone who follows Slovenian football, I’ve been consistent in multiple threads that he’s still fairly raw.

I’m surprised Leipzig are pricing him out of a move, but teams are desperate for a striker so it makes sense that they’re trying to squeeze out what they can. I suspect he’s happy to stay and develop for an extra year too.

Berta convinced Arteta. Plus Sesko price is very high and apparently he wanted huge wages plus a release clause fee added to the contract for 'bigger' clubs.
 
Yikes, if Newcastle go and nab Sesko, that leaves Arsenal in a bit of a spot with Gyokeres and their relationship with Sporting.
 
Only way how and why this can happen is in the fact that (according to rumours) his agent is offering him around. If he is doing that with club's blessing then fee can be negotiated in our favor.
Lets say for 60-70 mil in 40 installments
 
So we are supposed to go from Delap to Osimhen to Gyokores to Etikeke to DCL to Watkins to Jackson and now Sesko? Hmm... Which ST we haven't been linked with?
 
I think he wants to go and I believe as the window goes on RB will be more flexible with price. Arsenal seem to have got fed up of waiting.

I’d be very pleased with Sesko. He is still a very young striker and the talent and tools are definitely there. We may even get away with not relying on him immediately if we can get Mbeumo done.

Anyone know how much they were asking from Arsenal? Can’t imagine how long we’d take to negotiate the price given how long Arsenal took and still don’t succeed

I wanted him when he was leaving Salzburg as he would have cost a lot less. Anything above 45m for him is madness. The success rate of Bundesliga attackers in recent years is appaling to add to worries.
