Shit band, who seemed to think they were hilariously funny. They were. Unintentionally.

People who don't like them in this thread are showing their age, I.e. too old.
Those who do like them regardless of age seem much cooler and generally should post more in the entertainment forum. I.e. me = cool.

Fratton Park, play up Pompey!
I'm 21, just got bored to death of them after my brother played the Mark, Tom and Travis show tape over and over again which led to me wanting to stab myself with a spoon.

I was fairly close then.
If close means you were extremely far away, then yes.

Anyway, wasn't there some sort of law that disbanded Blink 182 in the first place?

I like a few of their songs. This is nothing major to me though.

Will be interesting to see how they go, and whether they are more +44 or more AVA... hoping for more +44.

Blink 182 self titled was brilliant.

Saw the thread title and my overwhelming response was "dear God, why?" closely followed by "who cares anyway?"

Awful band. Completely pointless and irritating. The musical equivalent of in-grown toenails.
I would have thought that award would have gone to Maroon 5/The Script.

To be fair they aren' the Allman Brothers Band but for just sheer good poppy-rocky-punky-pop they're brill. Maybe I'm biased as I remember them from being a young kid. What's My Age Again and All the Small Things were/are tunes.

If i remember rightly they were into Oasis and Rave music.

Self titled was easily their most accomplished album, thank feck they grew up, even if their audience didn't.

I think it will be a happy mix of AvA and +44 in terms of influence, just an evolution on the Self Titled album.

New album and World Tour at the end of the year.
