Let's have some bold predictions for the 2019/20 season. United or anybody else. Here's a chance to be creative with breakout players, comeback players or whatever you like. Just a bit of fun no need to be so serious.

My predictions -

Alexis to find some old form and play more of a part in our season than expected scoring 15 goals in all comps.

Spurs to finish in the top 2.

Martial will get 20 goals all comps.
Pogba will sign a new contract.

- Martial to smile every other game.
- Fred to go out on loan next January after failing to establish himself.
- League a 3 horse race by December (same 3 as last season).
- Lampard to get sacked before the end of the season.
- Klopp making even more stupid comments after struggling with not reaching the heights of last season.
- VAR to be diabolically disproportionally applied. Fans in uproar.

Only making this prediction because my predictions almost always end up being wrong: Liverpool will finally win the league

United finish outside the top 6.
Shit I was just getting excited for the season to start this week. Then you reminded me VAR is going to make watching it a chore.

Edit: nope not you must’ve been someone else.

I'll give it a whirl....only bold predictions, top 3 to be City, Liverpool, Spurs of course:
  • Pogba and Lukaku both to be sold. Pogba after the window closes, Lukaku within the window but too late to look for a replacement. No incomings.
  • Wolves to finish 4th, and to do so somewhat comfortably.
  • United to finish around 8th. Ole to be fired just after Christmas.
  • United to sign someone weird in the January window, after Solskjaer is fired - in a desperate attempt to raise morale.
  • Everton to win a trophy - probably the League Cup.
  • Newcastle to get relegated along with Sheff Utd and someone like Burnley. I can see Burnley struggling this year.

City to win the league and CL :(:(:(
feckit, it's better than Liverpool winning them.

De Gea pulls a Ramsey.
With his decline last season, and Dean Henderson (read up on his interviews, this guy has the mentality to make it at the very top) coming through the ranks, I actually wouldn't be too dissatisfied with this happening. Missing out on a fee would hurt though (if it would have been reinvested in the squad, anyway).

For my predictions -

  • United to make top 4.
  • Liverpool to struggle (at the very least, not challenge for the title.
  • Guardiola to leave City in summer 2020 (not sure how bold this is tbh).
  • Zidane to NOT be sacked.

  • Wolves to not be as good as last season, Everton and Leicester to finish above them.
  • One of Everton/Leicester to finish top 6 in the place of Chelsea or United.
  • Newcastle or Aston Villa to finish top 10.
  • Burnley to get relegated.

Wow.
Certainly bold!

The relegation ones and Lukaku for sure, the rest no chance.

As much as it pains me to say, I can see Klopp join Real Madrid once Zidane gets fired.

Olé Solskjaer will get sick of Matic after 2 months and coax Carrick out of retirement for the rest of the 2019/20 season. He’s 37, he could do a job.

I just don't see any situation other than a complete and utter 8th place in April for Ole to get sacked personally

Explain? Why would he be sacked if we make Top 4.
Sacked when in about 6th by Christmas but you get a decent manager who gets more out of the players and gets Martial playing like the player he should be and you scrape 4th

Maguire starts the season with some shocking mistakes, loses his confidence and eventually his place in the first 11.

Rashford scores 25 goals.

De Gea gets dropped at some point.

Smalling will score an overhead kick from a lobbed ball from Bissaka.
Andreas Pereira will impress and score against Everton then get a red card in the following game.

Alexander-Arnold to be sent off before September
City to win nothing
A team outside the top 6 to win the league cup
Our 9-0 record win broken
Another player scores 5 goals in a game
August will average a penalty a game until refs calm VAR down

I think Liverpool will go out of the CL early.

We will exceed expectations and come 3rd.

Ronaldo and Messi will have quiet seasons.
