Put all of that rubbish that you are thinking in one thread that is obviously going to go well.

I will start.

One of Victor Lindelof or Axel Tuanzebe is going to start at Right-Back at some point and do well operating in ten-Hag's 3-2-5 attacking shape, either as an RCB or making up the double pivot in the midfield 2.

As a result of said shape, we will also not sign an outright defensive midfielder and the caf will have a shit fit.

People will start comparing De Jong to cleverley as he won't ping 50 yard passes like Scholes, and will be called waste of money as he won't many tackles like Kante.

We will make at least one panic signing on deadline day

One of Murtough or ETH will be gone before the end of the season

Liverpool will scrape through in 4th, as part of their dope weaning cycle.

MUFC will finish 6th and look to sack ETH even though he'll actually have us playing better.
Martial will not be able to be sold and will not score a goal for us all season even in double figure starts.
Ronaldo will be dropped by ETH early season, he will go to Portugal until the Jan window and leave
Phil Jones will still be contracted to the club for the whole season.
This will be DDG's last season with rumours of a Jan replacement becoming loud at Xmas
Telles is first choice for the entire season
Maguire vastly improves after having the captaincy stripped.
Fred shines in the XI as FDJ becomes a trusted midfield partner.
1-2 youth prospects not already in the squad cement bench or first XI spots.

United will fight Liverpool/Spurs/Chelsea for 3rd place right until the final day. The WC will cause a lot of havoc in fitness schedules which will make the race for 2-4 place tighter.
Ronaldo will save himself for the WC and will score less than 1 in 2 before the WC begins. He will quit United at the end of the season and move to the US.
This is Rashford's final season at United.

Telles is first choice for the entire season
More likely: Shaw will start the season in red hot form but will be in and out with niggling injuries until Christmas, at which point EtH will lose patience and Telles will see the season out as first choice.

We will struggle up to xmas and be 7th then the penny will drop TH tactics and coaching will click and we finish the season 5th with 78pts 1 pt off 4th 14 pts off top and win EL. 2 youth players who didnt start the season will be regulars by the end.

The new signings will not hit the ground running, some of our existing players will improve, everyone will make excuses for ETH, it’s going to be a mess, people will point to the fact that it’s his first season in England, same for some of the signings, this was already massive job for anyone, the coming season will eventually be a write off. ETH will leave or be sacked the season after that.

We'll finish 4th ~74 points playing some LVG style zombie football for the first 6 months or so. Performances will slowly get better as time goes on and the squad gets used to the football.

Deep cup run / possible EL win.

We will play nothing like the Ajax system. It will be a similar style to the past 3 years.
We will have games where we are world class. Hammer the sht out of someone or beat City, Liverpool. Then everyone will think we are going to win a title. Next game we loose to Everton or some sht club and everyone should be sacked.
We will have a top player that is done for life. Maguire/Rashford for example. They hit such lows that their career is finished and even when sold to a biggish team cant regain form.
Harry Maguire will still be captain.
We will have a young player play well and be declared better than Messi and the future of the club
No matter who we sign we will still need a midfielder and a RW come next season

We will comfortably make top 4 next season. Chelsea will implode and sack their manager mid season.

This is a hot take - Liverpool will struggle without Mane, and Salah won't have hot form. City will struggle with putting Haaland in their team and letting go of Bilva. Conte will guide Spurs to the title, or at least fight till the very end.

City will finished 3rd next season.
Nah.

ETH will walk out as manager during the season.
Nah.

Giggs will take over.
Does it count as."taking over" if he has it given to him? Say until ... The end of the season?

People will start comparing De Jong to cleverley as he won't ping 50 yard passes like Scholes, and will be called waste of money as he won't many tackles like Kante.
Ah yes, I have trotted "Dutch Cleverly" out many a time among friends to describe DvB so the chance to further assert myself as a funny twat is welcomed.

We will make at least one panic signing on deadline day

I don't think we will make a panic signing, I expect us to have seen enough good performances out of some youth players that ETH will happily go with one of those that are waiting than spend money on a player he doesn't want just to have a body in.

I also don't see JM or ETH gone but the pressure could certainly be on them next pre-season if the season doesn't end well or there is no visible improvement to the quality of the football.
