Noticed that Prime currently have all the James Bond films available including the original Casino Royale and the current film.

Quite a few i haven't actually seen so going to make an effort from Dr No onwards .

Has anyone seen them all?

I think I probably have watched them all over the years. If you're of a certain age, you'll have probably seen most of them on bank holiday tv schedules and the like. Didn't realise they were on Prime though, so thanks for this.
I think From Russia With Love or Goldfinger are my favourites

I think I have seen perhaps 15 of them so going to be try and get them all watched.

Dr No I've watched now and interesting start much more of a detective film than I think the series eventually turned into

One day I should take one-month subscriptions to Prime, Disney+, and whatever other services to catch up on some services. I've seen al Bond films except for the original Casino Royale and the last two. Especially the last two I would love to see - they're supposed to be quality.

I read the book series a few years back and always wanted to watch the movies in the 'correct' order. Might do that now.

I've seen them all multiple times, as they're always on telly, apart from the newer ones. I don't enjoy them when they're new anyway. I find them a bit ridiculous and can only really watch them from the remove of 'the olden days'.

I like the new ones because they remind me of that time when some people got really mad that the brown haired Bond was going to be replaced by a blonde haired Bond.

The only thing I don't like are the monumentally shite theme songs. Loved the Casino Royale one but Quantum doesn't even sound like a Bond song and it's just generally shit. Adele and Sam Smith ones just sound like Adele and Sam Smith singing ballads. At least Billie Eilish's one is a decent tune.

Suddenly reminded of when I had the ending of the new one spoilered the shit out of on here and never watched it because of it.
If it wasn't obvious that Bruce Willis would turn out to be a robot at the end then that's your problem.

My Mrs and I are currently working our way through the whole series. There are a lot of the older ones which we have never seen.

I was a bit bored by Dr No to be honest, but the second movie From Russia With Love was fantastic. Watching Goldfinger tonight

Austin Powers is one of my favourite movies so cool to see some of the references I didn't get in the past.

Halfway through Goldfinger and I have seen this before classic bond

From Russia with love last night was first time I ever watched it and have to say it's probably the best of all the Bonds I have watched.

From Russia with Love is an absolute classic Bond movie. Probably in the top 3.

Rewatched Skyfall and it's not nearly as good as I remembered it, although it might just be because of the off-putting CGI. I could have sworn Bond's recovery was longer than "ow I have a sore shoulder for five seconds" in the cinema. That first twenty minutes are still amazing.

Anyone else prefer Casino Royale to Skyfall? And I'm not just talking about the scene where Eva Green is putting on mascara.

I haven't watched any of the Craig ones I will when I get there this time but previously I just felt watching trailers of them that they were just ripping Jason Bourne off with the same style and Bond shouldn't be doing that.

However I'll give them a shot when I work my way through and see if I change my mind

GoldenEye is still the best one. Fite me.

Skyfall is the only great Craig one. Though No Time to Die was pretty good. Casino Royale isn't a Bond film, Quantum of Solace is utterly tumescent and Spectre was completely forgettable.

Watched Casino Royale. Not really a Bond fan but from what I gathered over the years, I thought the Craig movies were supposed to be grittier but this seemed like typical camp Bond for the most part. Action was decent.

The torture bit was funny though. No elaborate devices or anything, just "I'm gonna smash your balls."

On The Spy Who Loved Me now and gonna say it's now my favourite Bond film beating From Russia With Love.

Moore is probably at his best here in the role and hard to see him topping this one and the overall story is perfect for a Bond film.

Jaws has to be the best villain's henchman

What was Richard Kiel like? He seems like he would be a nice guy in real life.

I liked George Lazenby's take on Bond is and while I would have liked to see him do more or works have officially meant no Roger Moore and for that things worked out better

I've met Lazenby as well.

Richard was a really sweet guy but seriously, this guy was fk huge.

I don't think unless you saw him in the flesh you realised just how big he was.

Lazenby had the best story (aside from FRWL) but the film would have been much different if Connery or Sir Roger had done it.

Im not a big fan of Lazenby or moreso the way they did certain things, but he did fit that particular film because he wasn't Connery or Sir Roger.

Each Bond was best for their particular films, I would say however, Dalton and Craig could easily have played each others Bonds though with the stories they were given.

Dalton and the darker stories came to soon unfortunately.

Best all rounder was Bronson, he had a mix of Connery and Sir Roger, but had bad stories (aside from Goldeneye).

Plus the real life story of Lazenby as Bond is absolutely mental.

Octopussy is very underrated and for me A view to a kill holds a special place as a kid this was the best movie I had ever seen (it's rubbish I know) but The spy who loved me is probably my favourite. I only like Casino Royal from Craig but Skyfall had a great villain but the rest of his movies are utter piss.

You saw most of the shit ones so you can't really go wrong with any of the others.

I recommend Moonraker, that should set the mood.

I don't know how you guys can identify a favourite. There are so many it's hard to choose. And my 'favourite' keeps changing.

I've seen the Daniel Craig ones up to Skyfall. Now I've noticed Skyfall isn't on Prime. If I skip on to Spectre would I be confused as to what's going on?

Or would I be grand?

You need to watch it. Not least because it’s brilliant.

Interesting. I'll have a look again after the match, maybe I managed to miss it!

Yes it's showing for me would be surprised if they left it out and included the first casino royale and never say never again.

It’s showing as on Prime Video for me?
Would you believe Skyfall is positively not on Prime in Ireland. Weird as the rest are. Maybe Adele doesn't like us?

Anyway, I watched it on a dodgy website. Absolutely brilliant film. Without question it was at least a level above both Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale.

It had such a feeling of finality to it as well, its hard to wrap my head around the fact that that isn't the last Daniel Craig movie. Maybe its just because I'm not used to the 'James Bond cycle' or something.

I began on Spectre straight after and turned it off halfway through, probably because of Bond-fatigue more than anything else. Shouldn't have dived into it.

If anyone can recommend any previous Bond they'd deem as good as Skyfall that would be lovely.

Very odd, some Irish broadcaster just have the rights remaining for a while or something.

Yea it’s a great film, one of the best IMO and certain miles better then QoS which was garbage.

Spectre is defo a big step down but I still enjoyed it for what it was, and then No Time To Die is back up there amongst the better ones for me.

Only 30 days left and they are leaving prime.

I'm on the Craig films now first time watching him as Bond.

I do think he's a good Bond but I feel like I'm watching The Bourne Legacy with Daniel Craig now joining Jeremy Renner in trying to be Matt Damon's Jason Bourne.

Every action scene is desperately trying to emulate the Bourne films it takes you out of the film.

I just don't think Bond should be trying to copy trends.

Perhaps as Craig goes on it won't be as obvious in on Quantum of Space just now
