What do the forum members think of the 2000 hours kick off on Boxing Day.
It’s a joke. Especially for the poor away fans. Why not have it early. What do the forum members think of the 2000 hours kick off on Boxing Day.
So there’s only one game that day. We’re ones to entertain the nation and bring in the viewers !It’s a joke. Especially for the poor away fans. Why not have it early.
The best Boxing Day home game was when we beat Wigan 5-0 (I think). So there’s only one game that day. We’re ones to entertain the nation and bring in the viewers !
Was that when it was like -8 degrees or something daft? The best Boxing Day home game was when we beat Wigan 5-0 (I think).
I worked it and got paid double time for the privilege.

Valencia was sensational at that time. Remember him scoring an incredibly powerful goal that game. The best Boxing Day home game was when we beat Wigan 5-0 (I think).

If I had to guess it's probably TV related. Ideal time for American market. What’s the reason for not having a usual set of games throughout the day as we’d always had?

Because Boxing Day falls on a Friday this year so TV decided to make it more like a standard weekend with 1 Friday match and a full SaturdayWhat’s the reason for not having a usual set of games throughout the day as we’d always had?
They are considering the fans, the fans who live in New YorkI think its feckin' daft - and gives zero consideration to fans. Usual Premier League MO.
Shit for the players. People will say they're use to it, but it's still shit. First time in years they can relax a little more on Christmas day with your family, and you're one of the two teams that draw short straw and have to play still.
