You can see the class he has. Some beautiful one/twos and link up play, outside of the foot passes galore.

finally somebody who can strike a ball with power and dip Too.

not many harder places for united to go than Chelsea away and he came through it with flying colours, he’s going to be a star.

Had a very good game IMO. Was inches away from scoring a cracker and that assist for Maguire was top fecking class.

It was so refreshing to see us taking decent corners again.

He was poor in first half but grew massively into the game in the second one. His delivery from set pieces, FKs and corners, are the best I have seen by a United player in ages. He should take all of them.
He wasn't poor in the first half, he set up Martial for a chance and he also made a chance that Fred should have done better with.

Genuinely excited by him in our team, looks like he's going to be a world class player.

Solid first half,great 2nd.
Play him further forward and we have a good player on our hands.

He was pretty quiet in the first half and did pretty much nothing over all imo. He grew into the game in second half and start dictating the play better.

Great corner. Sub par general play. Pretty much the player I knew we were getting.

His outside of the foot pass to initiate a counter attack was lovely to see. Imagine of someone like Rashford to get to end of it

Editing my own posts.
Didn’t really do anything for the vast majority of the game, then in a 5 minute spell suddenly decided to take 3 spectacular set pieces, hit the post and set up a goal, which was instantly the best thing anyone had achieved all day..

Did really well, all things considered. I can't wait to see him with Rashford and a midfield not consisting of Matic.

I think he is going to be so important for us in getting results against the lower teams which we've been struggling against up till now. Great at set pieces, like having a younger Mata.

Some nice crosses to set up chances, I know thats taboo from the Grealish and Maddison threads, but it really doesnt matter where the chances come from and good crosses and headers got us 3 points today

He has real star quality. Can’t wait to see more. If he can be the one to break down these irritating small teams he’ll be adored.

Another good performance. He looks a level above. Very assured in what he does.

Put some great balls in. That kind of accuracy is something we’ve not had for years.

Hoping that those hopeless souls that said he was shite get culled with the scousers to be honest.

Completely agree. Providing he doesn't get sucked into dropping too deep too often to retain possession, and we can find him quickly, he'll be devastating.

Going to be class. Nice to finally have a set piece taker. Idiotic that we didnt sign him last summer, the season could have gone so differently having his sort of quality in attacking midfield. Shame Rashford is out for a while and we dont have the same threat in behind without him, but I have no doubt he'll be an excellent signing.

Excellent work rate too.

You can see glimpses from him already. Has a nice deft touch, good weight of pass and showing some good delivery. We won’t see the best of him until next season; however, the signs are there that he’s a classy little player.

Could we be witnessing the first set piece specialist in the world who didn't lose it once he started playing for United?

Also, it's difficult to see how both Pogba and him fit into the same team, especially without someone like prime Matic or Carrick behind them.

He was very good, finally someone who can take good corners and he was very unlucky not to score from free kick.

Such a huge upgrade for the #10 position.

I have so much missed an offensive player like him: good passes, always looking forward, good on set pieces, runs, fights, and most importantly can play for 90 minutes. The futures is brighter with him in the team

With an actual good front 3 in front of him I think he can shine. Rashford, Martial and an actually good RW (ideally left footed) after about 10 years, and he'll be able to link up and feed them all game long. Gets into some excellent positions and can play a pass, the type of player that needs good players in front of him.

For all the talk about his bad passing and him losing the ball a lot, he is nothing like that so far. Looks great so far.
I mean, outside of some good set pieces, his passing in general play has been as inconsistent as those of us who saw him at Sporting said it'd be.

Nice to see some technical ability in the midfield again. Made the whole midfield look calmer. I got erections

Decent when he had the ball and very composed.

Shame that free kick hit the post.

Not sure I agree. His job is to create and he doesn't just do the easy passes because of fear he can lose the ball. He tries a lot of risky passes and of course it won't always be successful. All top attacking players lose the ball a lot in these positions but they have the quality to make 2-3 killer passes each game. From what I have seen so far, I think Bruno has it.

You pay big money for players,in good form or not,to be able to produce in the big moments in games like these and today was no different.

Where's my arc, Paulie?
He seems so much at ease and has a knack for finding space. I really hope he doesn't catch the contagious backward passing plague that has been killing us for years now.

Ronaldo: All I did was trap the ball
Bruno: All I did was cross the ball

Did very well and has superb movement.

At the start of the season I posted it's crazy to sign Maguire and have no-one at the club to deliver a ball in for him and said if we sign Bruno he has to take the corners and freekicks into to the box. Hopefully we can get other players chipping in with goals now.

Even just dangerous balls in for rebounds and causing chaos, normally it's a tame ball in then we're trying to stop a counter.
