This is now four finals he play for club, only City last season has he not been atrocious.

Loss today is on him and keeper. It comes home to roost regardless. His time here has been overstated by his stats. Ultimately you give ball away time and again, play poorly half of season over and over again and eventually regardless of stats, it will end in failure.

I agree with this - he doesn’t play with maturity in big games, he’s like a young player who is overexcited by the occasion and plays erratically. We still needed him on the pitch as he is the only creative outlet, but we needed him away from our goal and nearer theirs.

Absolute nonsense. Has shown up in plenty of big games over the years. Our problem is we constantly rely on him to bail us out and it’s just not realistic for him to constantly do it.
