Good game. Important that he gets back into form for Amorim to hit the ground running

Excellent today. He must be loving playing against Leicester

I feel like we should consider sticking Jonny Evans up front so Bruno always has a Leicester defender to kick the ball at.

He’s a goal/assist machine when played right. Makes you wonder how shit ETH must have been if he couldn’t get him as productive as he can be

I'm really quite optimistic that we'll be saying this a lot in the next few months. I don't even think Amorim has to be particularly good, he just needs to not be an absolute weapon.

He's having to do our invisible strikers job as well as everything else.

So 11 G/A so far this season. Recent uptick in form helps, hopefully it will continue under Amorim as well. Well done today.

For admins: need to add 1 more goal to a Bruno season profile, he has 4.

Good game today. Keep it up! Glad he has suppressed his hollywood instinct for a few games now and a difference is there to see!

Not surprising he runs out of steam after a while. Man s been keeping us afloat for several years. That's also why I have a hard time jumping on the criticism bandwagon when he went through his dry spells.
Same. He had more than enough credit in the bank to avoid jumping on him after a few poor performances at the start of the season.

He’s a problem according to some people… always loved Bruno, gives his all and he’s 100% committed to the club. He loves the club. Carry this form on captain

Did he get an assist for the 3:0?
Indeed he did but the real assist was Eriksen, TBH that is probably the best pass a United player has made this season but Bruno's pass was spot on as well

Great way to cap off the 250th appearance. Well done Bruno!

Already at 250, I thought it was 200. He must be close to Luke Shaw at this stage and is at the club half the time.

He was good today, goal and assist and forced an og. Could do with reigning in some of the aimless running to conserve energy, but when he plays like today, he's alright.

He was so good today. What really made me happy was seeing how well him and Amad worked together. Cant wait to see those two under Amorim together.

Thanks.

Wasn't aware that stuff like that goes into assist category... I mean, I'd be fairly confident, I'd be able to make the pass he made to Garnacho as well and it was Garnachos curler that made 99,99% of the goal. I thought, Bruno played alright today, just like most of the team. Not sure though, why people talk about an uptick in form - only thing different today was, that he produced some output, which is great of course but kind of where we are since years. Understat has his own effort as a 0.04xG effort, Garnachos was 0.02xG, he more or less missed the header for it to bounce as an own goal...

From what I've seen about Amorim, he is about generating clear cut chances mostly for the striker, lets see how that'll work. Really curious how long it will take to see a difference in our games.

Congrats to him on 250 apps. As an athelete he's elite and I'll always appreciate his dedication. As a footballet though, he's slightly above average to be generous. He should never be undroppable or someone to build a team arround. In short, Amorim's biggest conundrum.

It's not the Hollywood passes going wrong, it's how he misplaced the simplest of passes.

There is no indication he wants to change
God how sick am I of the Football Manager generation. Bruno has been wonderful, creative, passionate, unpredictable since he came here. He takes risks. Embrace the challenge, the human sweat and blood; give the controller a rest.

Rubbish

Slightly above average returns

That's him in a nutshell. Great numbers that overshadow a lot of sloppy, erratic performances.

Yeah but this sloppy, erratic stuff does get overplayed. He can be like that at his absolute worst but for weeks now he's been pretty tidy on the ball relative to his role in the team(creator).

this absurd standard for bruno - demonstrate that he has a way higher output for goals and assists that gerrard, and people want to talk about him being erratic- as if Gerrard was this consistent player. He was very often a hollywood pass player and very rarely turned up against united. Fernandes isnt the best midfielder we've ever had, but he is criminally underrated by many.

On the contrary, I'm pretty sure he's going to be Amorim's clearest no-brainer, other than who's starting in goal. "Slightly above average" is Trumpian-level off the mark.
