Remember when all the pundits were saying he had no discipline and he was all over the pitch and didn t stay in position, now he's mentioned in that interview that he was the most disciplined because that was exactly what Amorim asked of him, to drop in to the defensive line, and also get involved in the attack.
I've no doubt he is the best player in the world and he has wasted his prime years with us when he could have walked into any team and ran the show. The fact he stuck with us is why he is one of the all time greats for us, in my opinion.

Bruno has been incredible as a creator but he has had a very disappointing season in terms of goalscoring. He has missed a lot of great chances and somehow he has become poor in front of goal. I am hoping that it will turn next season because a player like him should be scoring more non penalty goals.
Agreed, he needs to calm down a bit before shooting.

I saw Cash and Watkins asked who POTY should be and both said Bruno immediately, so I expect he will win the players' player too. Hopefully he can continue this form next season and we can better help him to deliver some real team silverware.

We have a lot of well paid players but we do not have a lot of actually good players. Without something like our first XI playing we just won't be able to do anything to get him those last two assists.

At this point I'm hoping he just equals the record against Forest. Last home game, Casemiro will be back, hopefully Sesko will too. That's the only chance he'll get as Brighton always give us a tough time.

Fantastic player, by all accounts a brilliant leader off the pitch...I can't stand his approach to 'leadership' during our games. He'll always throw his hands up and demonstrably moan at his teammates even when it's his fault, and the constant whinging sets an attitude of victimhood whenever decisions or the way the game is going are against us. I honestly can't remember a mistake where he does a mea culpa...or a feckup from a teammate where he applauds the effort.
Love him, keep him as long as we can but I'd politely relieve him of captaincy if he's not capable of geeing up the team.

You’re 100% spot on but you’re about to find out this thread is for worshipping purposes only. Awful and unacceptable performance today and I’m not even in the least bit bothered that things didn’t come off for him on the ball, which can happen to any player. He’s the captain of Manchester United. The effort, the fight, the body language all unworthy of the armband. Those are all things that should be starting with him as the tone setter.
As good as he has been individually we are going nowhere till the time he is here , we simply have been reduced to Bruno Fc and it comes at a cost of teams ceiling which isn't pretty high .
As good as he’s been this season, we really need to move away from depending on him for creativity as much as we have this season.
