What a fantastic end to the season!! I hope he has a great World Cup and comes back raring to lead us to the title next year.

This is only the sixth time a Manchester United player breaks 30+ g/a in a single PL season.

1993/94 Eric Cantona

2007/08 Cristiano Ronaldo

2011/12 Wayne Rooney

2012/13 Robin van Persie

2020/21 Bruno Fernandes

2025/26 Bruno Fernandes

Finally he fullfilled the very high expectations. Well played. Consistently brilliant the whole season.

Surprised to see a few names missing here

Definitely would've thought Dwight York (1999), RVN (2001-02 and 2002-03), Ronaldo (2006-07), Rooney (2009-10) and Rashford (2022-23) would've made the cut

Yorke got 31 in 98/99

Ruud got 27 in 01/01 & 28 in 02/03

Ronaldo got 32 in 06/07

Rooney got 30 in 09/10

Rashford got 23 in 22/23 & 26 in 19/20

So, according to transfermarkt, Yorke in 98/99, Ronaldo in 06/07 and Rooney in 09/10 should be in there

With our attackers being more experienced together next season and hopefully adding another good attacker to the squad, Bruno will break his own assist record next season

Thrilled to have a United player leading that record, very impressive!

With Bruno the numbers tell their own story, as always.

I am so glad for Bruno. I was a bit worried that it might have been chalked off by some pedant as an own goal by the goalie instead.

Breaking the assist record is legendary to begin with. But doing it under these circumstances? Man, that brings it to a whole new level.

Above KdB and Henry, that really is something. Hope he can lead us to a major trophy before he leaves us.
It’s crazy to think how many more assists he could’ve had if our players didn’t routinely miss clear chances

To think there were so many debates about him being a problem and that he was actually holding us back…

So glad he broke the record today. It could take decades for somebody to beat it.

Legend. He's been absolutely carrying us for years now...great to see him get the praise he deserves.

Magic since day one. Remember his debut vs Wolves? Mostly a dull 0-0 draw but you could see his ability from the start. Love him.

I definitely owe him a massive apology as I was one of those who called him a problem. He's always been a good player but this year he played with a lot more poise on the ball while keeping all the creativity. He's easily a legend at the club.

The one good thing Amorim did was move him to midfield. Bruno has been less chaotic and shown more care for the ball in tight spaces and I believe this happened because he had to get comfortable in deeper spaces in midfield.

If our summer goes right, we might finally be able to support him with a balanced midfield pairing and I look forward to seeing us dominate even more with his creativity.

Also keeping him. Think board wanted to sell Bruno last year but Amorim had influence in keeping him.

Heavily disagree. Bruno in deep cm is just a dumb decision that set us back. If anything Carrick reverting back to a normal setting and seeing such a dramatic increase shows that the simple thing we all said to do was the right thing.

If Portugal win the WC and Bruno is player of the tournament is he in with a chance of the Ballon D'or?

I guess if Vitinha wins the CL and WC it would be hard to stop him.

Two very big ifs that is. And anyway it is unlikely for Portugal to win it without Vitinha playing well, in which case he may edge it (deservedly, perhaps).
