Short answer: no.

After we beat City in the FA Cup final (one of the best days of my life for multiple reasons), he was in the Bruno thread an hour after we lifted the trophy, telling everyone to "calm down" and reminding them that "it's only one game".
Has it been a lonely sunday for you, ...? Little odd jumping in to show everybody that my posts for some weird reasons seem to live inside your head. for more than a year by now. I'd question that if I were you, in your own interest.
And for what its worth, I was kinda right to be aware of yet another false dawn. I am deeply affected though, if you felt "one of the best days of your life" was disturbed by a post on a football fan forum and for my participation in this disturbance.

Honestly - as clever as you always come across, why don't you just put me on ignore? Save yourself the trouble and me the weird feeling that strangers on the internet seem to stalk my posts.

He really is the bestestest player in whole while world  The whole football world is questioning Amorim for sticking Bruno into midfield, even large parts of Uniteds own fanbase. But they are all wrong. Because "the stats" show that he is actually great. Actually wherever he plays...

"Boy"

Jesus, I nearly threw up in my own mouth.

Yes I see the confusion - I meant why has he spent his career at teams that don't challenge for the title, i.e. why don't those clubs come in for him? Could it be that they also see the flaws our own scouts reportedly did and pursue better options instead?

You are asking questions no one knows the answer to.

But we do know that it is hard to sign a top player, once they move to a big club on huge money. Even if that club has been an underperforming in recent times, like United. And it is not as simple as a club just coming in to buy him - they have to have a role for him to justify the huge spend that it would take to get him. Given Bruno wouldn't move to a domestic rival, we are only really talking about four clubs - Real, Barca, Bayern, PSG - all clubs with a lot of attacking midfield tallent. Once you sign for United, then you are really at the peak, even if we are underperforming.

United are the outlier in European football. Always up there in terms of profit and value, but way down the list in terms of performance. Regardless of that underperformance, we are able to keep our better players, which is what we have done with Bruno.

A player of Bruno's reputation should be winning more than FA and league cups. Elite players belong in the title race or CL knockouts. He can't be naive enough to think we can do this by ignoring the midfield year after year (or buying substandard or soon to be in decline players in those positions).

Im sure he knows what is needed, but he is not incharge of transfers. Im sure he is appreciative of the fact United spend 200m+ on more attacking talent. Keep doing that and it shows we do have ambition to improve. If we were not investing or trying to push on, im sure he would be far less inclined to stya.

I am not criticising his performance in that game, I am criticising the usefulness of that stat.

As i said earlier, there is a corelation between chances created and expected assists, so it is not worthless.

Always him scoring all the goals and assisting all the assists. He's had some genuinely 0/10 performances for us but unfortunately nobody else ever seems to carry the team when Fernandes plays poorly, whereas when Fernandes plays well, he really is our talisman.

So many Mancs I speak to are divided on the guy though and to be fair he does seem to get wound up way too easily to the point where teams (like Arsenals dirty lot) seem to be briefed to do it

If he doesn't go down as a United legend then there are going to be a lot of confused young United fans 50 years from now wondering who the hell this Bruno guy they keep hearing about is.

Luckily common sense will prevail and they will know who he is.

He defends more than Scholes did. Really weird that he gets criticism here. He has the 3rd most touches for a CM this season behind Anderson and Caicedo and 9th of all players behind mostly CBs. Great player, great CM

His critics see what they want to see. He's incredibly involved in the game and is very underrated defensively.

His critics also have the gall to claim that he moves poorly off the ball, but that makes no sense when you take into account that he isn't fast or strong. The only way to get that many touches and defensive contributions if you aren't assertive and athletic is to be smart.

I think its also to do with something thats more important than athleticism for the most part. Determinaton. Bruno wins the ball, wins duels, wins tackles and holds off challenges that another player of his size, strength and speed might not because he's so determined to do it and a very hard worker. There are players who are far stronger and faster who will lose that duel because they arent as determined as he is.

Yeah, Bruno's determination and work ethic is genuinely 10/10. But even with perfect determination I don't think you get very far without smart movement or raw athleticism. I would say that Bruno has the former.

Edit:
I didn't see the "also". We are in agreement then.

Disclaimer: Pogba prop. Do not quote me in anger.

I am actually someone who enjoyed Pogba for the most part. I think expectations were unrealistic and if we had put a quality midfielder next to him and Bruno we could have been top drawer. Some of the football and performances from Pogba, Bruno, Martial, Rashford, etc. during that time are far beyond anything we have seen for the last few years. We wanted more because we had standards, but now we just make excuses for why we are mid-table and cling to the odd moment in games where we almost score, as opposed to any fun full performances from either the team or individual players.

Anyway, hopefully we start to see more impressive displays over the coming years, players like Cunha should bring that magic we have been missing.

Brentford 3:1 Man Utd New
I just don't want to see him starting for us again. Whether that's in the front 3, CAM or CM.

Said at the time he should have been sold in the summer.

Tired of his attitude, I definitely wouldn't want to be lead by him.

The sooner we move to a 3 man midfield with Bruno further forward, the better. What a waste of the most creative player in the league.

Expected display after the club makes a song and dance of his scoring loads of penalties.

Usual sub par performance. There’s an international break coming up — at which point the usual suspects will find some out of context tweets in isolation about his chance creations etc. and how blessed we are to have him

Penalty miss aside he was woeful. Honestly he needs to either be benched or moved in to the front 3. He can’t play CM. Terrible passer of the ball.

He's just not being used properly, just like most of the other players who leave the club and shine

Captain fantastic bottles yet another high pressure moment where the team really needed him and drops a 0/10. So glad we didn't take the Saudi money!!
