What a player.

Knew exactly what we were buying and he is showing his quality.

Can’t believe how many said we didn’t need him in the summer.

Scored vs Liverpool, City, Arsenal and now Spurs. He's coming for Chelsea next

Brilliantly taken goal, and he ran his socks off. However, his touch is a little all over the place at times. Obviously a very good player and very important to the team because he offers a threat in behind, is a good finisher, strong, fast, works so hard, but he really never takes on his man, does he?

He’s doing a job but people need to remember he’s playing out of position at the moment. He’s not a striker and he won’t show his best there.

Smooth finish. Though not sure if we should just stick with him and Sesko as our strikers for next season or bring someone in

As soon as I saw that chance was coming to him I knew he would score. Probably the only player in our squad who gives me that feeling.

BOOM BOOM BOOM GIVE IT TO BRYAN MBUEMO BUEMOOO

Signing of the season across the board.

What's his proper position though? He's best centrally, whether as a CF or a 2nd striker.
So far we’ve seen him play as AML AMR and FC. Which position suits him best is a mystery still. It does look like him and Amad have this great synergy between them so currently I’d say CF is where he is needed most.

He’s got the Salah gene just as I’ve expected. It’s not going to be super pretty but he’s a perfect Prem attacker with how good he is off the ball along with being a very good finisher, passer, and in general his brain works at a high speed to make up for any pure technical issues he might have.

Appeared to be limping leaving old trafford. Hope it’s not an injury. Especially with next game on Tuesday.

I agree with this. And I think that those technical issues you speak of become more conspicuous the further from the goal he will be.

I think he can play wide, but ultimately still like a wider striker than anything else. He should be terrifying centre halves and goalkeepers more than full backs, whereas Amad is the opposite. I think he scares full backs a lot more than goalkeepers and centre halves.

Ahh you get that after a game of football. Could be muscle tightness/stiffness. Wouldn't be over thinking it.

Sign of a good day of hard work on the pitch.

I thought he was poor apart from the goal. The main reason we struggled to break the low block. Lots of flicks when he had time and lots of poor first touches and passes.

Depends which manager comes in. Some will prefer Sesko as a target man. Others will like Mbeumo as a false 9 type. The only way of playing Amad and Mbeumo together though is with him upfront. We’re going to have some good options. I think we need another LW to compete with Cunha.

Mbeumo is a right winger being asked to do a job for us as CF because he's adaptable to play there.

He has 91 goal contributions from 167 games as a RW in his career.

He will play plenty of games RW next season when competing in all competitions.

I did think he was going to a better signing than Cunha but I was wrong about him. I didn't think his Brentford form was sustainable and thought he won't be able to replicate it here. Already looks like one of those super rare spot on signings that we've made.

His quality was beyond obvious. Easy signing.

Should be aiming for 20 in all comps at this rate but at least 15 which would be a great return. If Cunha and Sesko can hit double figures each too that would bode very well for the future.
All comps? We’re not in any other comps and went out first game of them

I reckon he will be playing in multiple positions for us next season. So far a good CF, RW and decent LW. Fentastic signing, tactically flexible and has the X factor in abundance.

Think he's fine? He's with the traveling squad.

Jeez, had volume up and that song deafened me
Good to see him looking fine, reckon same team but Sesko will come up much sooner if they are sitting in and we need a goal.
