Bad game but you knew he'd nail that pass.

Amad, im not so sure.....

Quiet and an easy pass but at least he made the right choice and at least he made the run for Cunha to play that great pass

he made that look easy. Imagine Garnacho in that situation, yeah.

14 non-penalty G/A in his first 23 games is really good, and befitting of the price tag. Can't complain at all.

yep, missed some golden opportunities in terms of opposition to add to it during AFCON too.

Nice assist to put it on a plate for Sesko. I always have faith in him to execute the weight of his passes in those dangerous positions. Our latest signings have been a significant upgrade on Garnacho and Rashford, who would often make a mess out of those type of passes.

Watching the replay back he was lucky to get that assist, his aim was to take on the defender but he had a poor touch which took him backwards.

He wouldn't have seen Sesko if it wasn't for that bad touch.

Reliably productive. I’m a bit hesitant about starting Sesko and putting Mbuemo on the RW, because I don’t have much faith in his dribbling or general ability to beat a man. But he does bring other qualities when on form (which hopefully comes soon).

What are they? Not going to pretend I watched much of Brentford last year so not seen much of him and his United career has been quite a bit stop start so I'm unfamiliar with Mbeumo.

Productive, but not too impressed recently. So many attacks just die when he gets the ball. Hopefully more to come from him.

He's a counter-attack merchant, not particularly useful in possession but a deadly weapon on the break. Very handy to have but I actually think he's the worst footballer in our attack in terms of technical ability.

I think he's the best in terms of technical ability - first touch, ball striking and crossing anyway.

Crazy assumption. He would have most likely taken the ball onto his left foot anyway, therefore opening up his body to face the space Sesko was running into...

Impossible to judge him as a striker because he isn’t one. It would help him if we got players around him too.

Not impressed with his overall play, despite his goals and assists. He just keeps losing the ball and resultantly we can never sustain attacks, this issue is further increased because we already have Cunha and Bruno who treats ball like grenades (also add Casemiro on bad days). I feel we would never become a top side with soo many players who are constantly giving away the ball. Not sure how we can rectify the problem except add maybe a few CMs and LW who are press resistant and use only one of Cunha or Mbeumo in the team.

Agree, this is what I was thinking watching the game last night.
Good players can still be dangerous and impact the game when they are not playing that well or playing out of position. This guy is a gem

He’s a right winger who we insist on starting at CF. Watch his performances improve when he actually plays on the wing with a proper CF leading the line.

People should not judge him as a bad footballer, Carrick ball is not sustainable. Play highline, make him press up front and he will get many great chances and start scoring braces. Right now it's all about running 30-50 meters or across the pitch, and a bad touch here and there can ruin the chance. Give him smaller space to operate, as in winning the ball higher up the pitch, closer to the opponents goal so he's got a chance to take a shot and he will be deadly. Same for Cunha.

It's a difference between a direct attack form our own half or attacking disorganized defence from the half way line and up.

I think he has to start wide left. He looks so much more dangerous and comfortable there. On current form I’d drop Amad and let Mbuemo supply Sesko. Not sure Cunha is best on the left wing so we really need an outlet there in the summer too

I didn’t watch much either, but from what he’s shown here I’d say good first touch, shooting, crossing and movement. I feel like he’s the ‘efficient’ type of player that’s good at the fundamentals and better with fewer touches. Is he gonna beat a couple players and slot it in the top corner? Unlikely. Is he going to be in the right place at the right time for an important goal? Probably. Maybe not my ideal player personally, but I can’t argue with the productivity.

For what it’s worth, I’ve also thought he’s been poor (especially compared to his early season form) for a while.

This is the part I have the biggest issue with his touch for the last few weeks/months has been horrendous. As someone who hadn't watched much of him prior to the signing I admittedly just looked at the numbers last year and you can't argue with them. Even his output this season hasn't been bad but his overall game is a rough watch sometimes.

If this is his bottom level and he's still contributing then happy days but I'd be worried if this was his standard where he'll get g/a but his overall game is lacking.

Are you saying he s out of form ? Someone who s the highest scorer of his team ?

You guys are really extremely hard to please. Man Utd was languishing on position 14 th last season and are now 4 th especially becuase of Mbeumo but you still find a way not to be satisfied. Why urge the scouting team to go get Kylian Mbappe.

FFS. Reckon he just wanted to make the right call - whether he was able to control the ball properly after that pass and running full pelt or decide to square it once he didn't fully get it under control. Can't deem him "lucky" when he executed what may have been his second option pretty perfectly.

Clutching a bit here. Better first touch and Keane still squares him up and Sesko is still 5 yards ahead of Tarkowski. Highly likely the same outcome

He's producing even when out of position. Get him back on the right wing.

It's posts like this that illustrate just how insufferable fan forums can be.

Sorry for stating a fact that he a bad touch and that he may not have ended up with that assist, won't do that again.

Maybe you should look at your own posts before making that comment.
