When not scoring he does seem to struggle.
Just not a top level player. Perfect for Brentford but just hasnt the composure for a top 4 team.
Suggests a lack of sharpness to me. Which is concerning given how few games we’ve played this season. His first touch has gone off the boil in the last few months. Takes him ages to control the ball.
No it was literally always praised at Brentford and when he started here. His dribbling has always been underwhelming by contrast. His the touch was always underwhelming I think.
Feels representative of the whole team. We play well in big games and then look shite in every other oneHe’s scored in every big game so far this season. Ridiculous post.

Shame he can’t reach this imaginary ceiling.I'm not really sure what he's good at other than being a pacey finisher.
Good player to have in the squad but Amad's ceiling is so much higher.
He has been a disaster. Hope you understand now why I said he offers nothing. Stats dont tell the whole story. Mbeumo could never score a goal like Newcastle's second, yet United needs wingers who can produce such goals if it aspires to be a top club. Mbeumo is a mid to lower table hustler with no technique. I have never seen him in the last 8 months at United either take on a player like Cunha, or any other decent winger would do, or shoot the ball at goal. Heck even Zirkzee and Amad offer far more attacking threats than him with less minutes. When did you ever see Mbeumo attempt the type of shot Zirkzee took? You’d think Mbeumo has been a disaster of a signing from reading this…
On the wing hes awful. His body language is defaulted to open his body for a backward or sideways pass.I'm not really sure what he's good at other than being a pacey finisher.

He doesn't even attempt to take on a full back.
You got it!He's basically Lukaku. A net negative on the pitch unless he gets a goal or assist.

Yes. I had hoped he was a rock solid 6 or 7 out of 10 player whose fundamentals were absolutely sound, at the very least.Very worrying that his actual all around game is this bad. Without the odd goal here and there he's a net negative to us.
He’s one of the few in the squad who should be used to playing one game a week. It’s clear that he struggles more when we play two games in a week.Suggests a lack of sharpness to me. Which is concerning given how few games we’ve played this season.
