He would've been better if he deleted the original post. Man, some of these "journalists" are hitting rock bottom as of late.

60m does seem like a lot for him.

Well any tweet I see of him now will be deleted and repeat offenders given a warning.

I think this might be better than signing Mbeumo AND Cunha.

Summer 2025, what a year to remember.

So many fans/channels/outlets are losing their minds over this transfer...how can United afford to buy 2 players PSR MADNESS!!!!

Yet City spend the best part of 200M in January and nobody even wrote a sentence ffs.

United hated adored never ignored

Love It!

Alcaraz isn’t on the approved sources on redcafe I don’t think, hence me not sharing but he’s been on point and has gotten the Mbeumo stuff right thus far - sometimes ahead of more solid sources (you can verify their timeline). Conversely, I’ve now seen another report from an aggregator stating £170K.

I’d wait until we get insight from Fabrizio or Ornstein or one of the TheAthletic guys before sharing it to your group chat

Ahh okay, cheers :)

Yeah, it's a funny game. £60m does seem a lot for Mbeumo, but not enough when we want to sell Garnacho. You have one guess which one of these two wingers has had a better season. Personally, I believe the price is right, a bit on the higher end, but nothing drastic, as I believe that £50m plus 5 in bonuses seems reasonable. If that was the Woodward era, we are paying at least £80m with 10-15 in bonuses, and putting him on 275-300k a week.

Good points. Personally I don't think garnacho is worth more than 40-50m

I mean you're free to think that all you like, but he's clearly very slight and not a powerful runner. There's a strong genetic component to it which someone his stature just isn't going to overcome.
I get the feeling by the time hes 25 26, he will be a lot thicker. Hes a late developer but hes held up incredibly well to the rigors of the Prem and has only got stronger as the season went on.

60 million, no more for me. We're buying off Brentford and we shouldn't be getting bullied into paying more.

The club should expect the player to push harder like the old days.

In the old days we entered most negotiations from a position of strength, can't really apply the same methods after finishing 8th and 15th back to back seasons...

I really hope we don't get him. We don't particularly need him, and he's just not very good.

Edit: Slight amendment here. Actually I'm really excited by potentially signing him.
