Birtles, Paddy Roache, Ralph Milne, Jordi Cruyff, Bosnich, Kleberson, Djemba Djemba all objectively worse.
I said 'regular starter' and 'in PL history'. The first three were before the PL started (and they were before my time so can't say whether they were worse or not). Jordi, Kleberson and Djemba Djemba were never regular starters.

Bosnich is the only one who fits the category, and while he had his issues his on-field performances were nowhere near as consistently bad as Hojlund's were last season.

I missed "PL" but I still don't think he's been our worst regular, although I'm struggling to think of one currently. Actually, Morgan Schneiderlin.

Schneiderlin was a huge disappointment, but I'd still have him comfortably ahead.

Last season was the first time in PL history that Man Utd probably had the worst player (who was a regular starter) in the entire league. That might be due to other worse players being dropped so therefore no longer being a starter (which can also be said about my 'worst Man Utd regular starter in PL history'), but it doesn't really change things.

I'm not angry or upset with him and then exaggerating things (which is what most over-the-top claims tend to be). I think back and legit can't come up with any other Utd player who was so bad for an entire season. There's been players who have had periods which were similarly bad (like Lukaku in the first half of 18/19), but not for a full season. Hojlund wasn't able to do even the most basic aspects of what is needed in his position to help the team function, without even getting to his complete lack of goal threat.

None of these, apart from Bosnich, were first choice or played as consistently as Hojlund. Either way Hojlund is easily one of the worst performing starters we have had and was way below 5/10 last season. If that is average, no wonder we are 15th.

Schneiderlin had exactly one season at the club as a regular starter. We bought him for £25 million and sold a year later for £24 million. I'd also argue that Schneiderlin was just a very basic footballer, not a terrible one.

Hojlund signed for £64 million, and unless we spend at least that again to replace him, is probably going to remain a regular starter for a third season.

It really isn't an exaggeration to say that Hojlund, and probably Onana too, were the worst players starting regularly in their respective positions across the entire league.

Was hoping he'd be making an appearance at Carrington today in training. I guess with being away for 2-3 weeks he's probably looking at places to live today

There's been pictures of him in his training gear, so he's deffo there.
