Still believe we want a midfielder, however it's clearly lower on the priority list than Mbeumo, Gyokeres and maybe even a GK. Not hearing enough from credible sources regarding player sales which is a bit frustrating.

I don’t think Bruno provides the ball carrying and dynamism that Amorim is looking for from the 10 positions.

I don't get the overreaction to this transfer deadline, it's only relevant for teams in the CWC and is only separate from the main transfer window because Fifa have some weird law that a window can't be open for longer than 16 weeks.
All it means is that he officially can't join the club until the window reopens literally one week later. We'll agree a fee by the end of the week and he'll be Utd player on the 16th when it reopens.

Yes, but presumably a left winger/left sided forward which Mbuemo is not. We can still complete the transfer with the window closed, just won't be effective until July 1st but there is nothing to stop him signing before then.

This will get done. It’s in our hands now. Mbuemo coming out and saying he only wants us means we can relax when negotiating. We don’t have to rush as he’s given us priority which Brentford won’t like… they’d have wanted a bidding war
