The last sentence got me -A fecking poet as well it seems - or more....

It's one of the classic Juventus catch phrases chanted by fans in the stadium.

Surely got to retire now unless he's happy to play MLS or something like that.

If he gets a half attractive offer (as a starter) somewhere, he will play on. He can't let it go it seems.

Came back solely to break the record for appearances. Bit of a grifter.

You'd be pretty fecked off about it if you were Chesney. At 43, he's pretty much a mascot/cheerleader.

Buffon 43, Chiellini 37, Bonucci 34

They’ve had great careers but it’s clear to see that they’re done at the highest level. Bonucci maybe stays one more season but they need new blood in that defence.

crazy to think I watched him play for Parma and he's STILL playing. imagine Thuram and Crespo still being active players.

He’s probably leaving because he wants to play in the Champions League.

I swear I was gonna post something to that effect. His ego is massive this one, fake humble and fake modest. His reaction in the CL when Real Madrid got a pen was closer to who he really is
Also an inveterate gambler(was under investigation for this at one point), and possibly a fascist

Feck him and his little dog too

Such a dramatic fecker. Just now out with a wave to the crowd like a man.

He’s been shite for years imo as well.

He's just milking it now. I genuinely thought he retired after he left PSG.

Should have retired last time he left Juve. Now he is just bumbling around reminiscing in nostalgia looking like a drunk uncle at a party.

He will probably be back next year so he can leave again.

Computer says no.

Anyway, I assume that shambles of a "poem" above is the result of Google Translate - so, whatever.

Still one of the greatest keepers ever - bad poet or not.

He was my choice to replace Schmeichel in 1999.

Shame we had no chance...

What's with all the bitter posts? The guy is a legend and an all-time great.
Yeah, it is a bit silly. While I don't understand why someone wouldn't retire after such a long career full of success, it is not like he is embarrassing himself out there. He still saved our ass against Sassuolo at 43 years. He is still pretty good at his job.
