To me this is a very average game between 2 average teams.
He should be fined! Didnt even hit the targetShould have scored there
Teammate was wide open. Brainless.Should have scored there
Oh my God, Billy Joel is Liverpool fan!! Ffs, life is horrible. I will never listen to Pianoman again.Unreal miss, but if feel he'll get another chance here
Watched the game and aye, he was pretty poor. Some unbelievable misses. This is why I can never be fully confident in Werner in big games, I always get a feeling he doesn't perform well under pressure.
But then again, he scored twice against Dortmund and multiple in the UCL so I might be overexagerating based on today. But still, I just have that small doubt (similar to Lewandowski).
I missed some minutes in the second half but what was the second big miss? I can only remember the one where Nkunku played a pass and he was wide open.Watched the game and aye, he was pretty poor. Some unbelievable misses.
RB have a friendly fixture list till the end of the season. Had they won today they could've been the favorites. Had the better chances too.
Can recall some very good chances today - some not 100% chances but apart from the one that you mentioned there was one when Neuer didn't calculate going off his line and Werner was one on one against him, beat him only to kick it straight to Alaba.I missed some minutes in the second half but what was the second big miss? I can only remember the one where Nkunku played a pass and he was wide open.
Also worth mentioning that he announced this himself via facebook, citing trust issues with the management. The same management he's now supposed to supervise from his post on the board.Klinsmann has resigned as Hertha coach after ten weeks.
I mean Hertha have really turned themselves into even more of a meme, but to be fair his contract was only running until the summer (according to Bild he basically resigned, because the management wasn't willing to give him an extension at this point), so one would expect that those transfers won't have been tailored to Klinsmann's ideas anyway. He spent money on their winter transfers like no one else in Europe and he resigned. If next coach does not want the same set of players then what happens
It's not the biggest surprise in the world. Most/all these recent additions don't care one bit about the club. All the clubs who have more money than sense experience this, just look at Hamburg or Wolfsburg.I don't recall a coach ever making a more egoistical move than what Klinsmann just did.
He gets hired, immediately antagonizes a bunch of long-term personnel, gets rid of some servicable players and replaces them with expensive new signings..and a few weeks later he figures this is not what he wants to do? At the very least he could have finished the season and not quit right in the middle of aguably the most important stretch of the season. Hertha is currently playing all the bottom-dwellers in a row (Mainz, Paderborn, Köln, Düsseldorf, Bremen) and they were already off to a bad start before this disruption.
What kind of coach quits over facebook without informing his club first? I suppose we won't see him coach a German team ever again.
I think as far as coaching credibility goes his time at Bayern neutralized anything he gained from the 06 WC and he never got sole credit for that either as it was mostly seen as him doing the talking/motivating and Löw doing the tactics. I don't think people in Germany really care what happens in US football either.Klinsmann is still living off the 2006 world cup isn't he?
Failed at Bayern a few years after and then so much hype when US appointed him. He did o.k in 2014 World cup but then US generally get to last 16 when they make world cups now (Bruce Arena and Bob Bradley also did it) and now jacks in Berlin even after the board got Piatek for him.
Strange guy.
I can't find the picture anymore, but Schalke used to have "The Golden Years" as a heading on their website ... regarding their successful during the time of the NSDAP.Tweet

At this point it might be best to just exclude Schalke from the league, before they can do further damage.
Honestly I find that quite amusingTweet

I don't think that has much to do with whatever stupid jokes their social media department comes up. Neither would I call Schalke a right wing club, I don't think think the club stood by Tönnies for ideological reasons and a lot of fans see him as a disgrace. That being said I've been often surprised how they tend to conveniently forget the historical and political context of their "golden years".I can't find the picture anymore, but Schalke used to have "The Golden Years" as a heading on their website ... regarding their successful during the time of the NSDAP.
