I´m utterly speechless. You can send off both Reus and Wolf for their challenges. It is from behind and open sole, so it is well within the rule set to punish that this harshly if you drive a tight line as ref. But then Serdar has to walk after 30 minutes for the exact same challenge and Burgstaller has to be booked by now for three or four yellow worthy offenses. You can´t have it both ways. You have to establish a line of refereeing for the players to know how much physicality and fight is allowed. This is the a fecking derby which tends to get heated, without a clear line you have simply failed as ref.
Exactly, if your want to argue that Reus was a red then Serdar did the exactly same challenge and got a yellow. The ref had no clue and played on his emotions.

30th minute: Part of the game lads, just a yellow.

60th minute: He wanted to break his ankles! Straight red

Clearly shows that even with VAR you can't solve referee incompetence. And we haven't even discussed the stupid penalty call as well

Eintracht was really poor, dunno is it just them being drained at the end of season or their heads are more in EL.

The amount of salty BVB supporters after Bayern‘s win at Bremen and today‘s Schalke game is just so entertaining.

Not that I would act any differently in their position.

Just saw the score, BVB are real jokers.
They were screwed by the ref, not a bottle job. Joke of a penalty for a handball with the defender right next to the attacker, didn't allow Sancho to come back on after he was hit on the head with a lighter (therefore Dortmund were down to 10 when the penalty was given). Then a red card given to Reus when Serdar was given a yellow for the same challenge before.

Is there a gif to the challenge from Serdar?
It was a tad less than the challenge from Reus, imo. But I think McKennie (71.) was about equal, even though it wasn't from behind. Especially after the precedent Zwayer set just a few minutes before.

All in all a shit performance by the ref team, without making an obvious mistake in any isolated situation.* Remarkable.

*Edit: Except Burgstaller

Thanks. I saw McKennie‘s and thought yellow is correct. Both reds for Dortmund and the penalty were IMHO also correct. That’s why I asked about Serdar‘s.

Just seen the highlights, Christ, those two reds, what the hell has happened to the BVB players there. I know it's derby and all but still, idiotic tackles.

Dortmund bottled it - not the referee. Yes, the hand penalty stuff is something that is wrong - but about all teams had the fun of this kind of calls this season and as often as Dortmund has turned matches especially with Alcacer as joker it did not need Reus' absolutely unnecessary foul in this situation that was not even in a dangerous moment.

Dortmund can't blame anyone. Remember a game week in January when they could have gone 10 points clear. They won't get a better chance to win if for another few years.

This other Hazard and his team fecking up their top 4 prospects.

But good news are that Stuttgart's survival prospects are looking a tiny bit better.

Yes but let's forget their huge injury problems in the second half of the season. They've been missing their two fullbacks for almost the whole second half.

Hakimi is a massive loss, Diallo offers absolutely nothing in attack while Hakimi was a massive part of their early season success. Pizseck the same

Favre needs to be sacked. Such a fraud!
Just Dortmund being Dortmund. Love to watch them but they were doing all this under Tuchel aswell (and in later years under Klopp). Get into good positions and then tense up.

This title race is just as close as the one in the PL... but not because we have to great teams in it, but two equally shitty ones.

Don't look now but Leipzig could still stage the mother of all upsets.

A grand finale with 3 potential champs would be amazing, reminds me of the good ole days when close title races were the norm.

Guess Bayern could still slip up v Leipzig or Frankfurt but have little confidence in Dortmund winning their last three even if they were playing Hannover three times.

We may lose the last two games. At this rate, Dortmund might do the same though.

Nürnberg missing all pens:

In Germany we say "Der Club is a Depp."
Would be typical for them, if they would have conceded the chance from Coman.
