If he breaks into the first team, plays for England, has a year left on his contract, has Bayern Munich tapping him up and carry the hopes and dreams of thousands of fans on his shoulders, he should get the same!
Probably break into the team this season, hasn't got the England call up yet, has a year on his contract, and has had Barca/PSG on his heels for a while, and the Caf love him at least, he'll probably coat us 100k a week!

Anyway CHO could potentially sign a pre contract in 6 months with a big signing on bonus, so 180k makes sense, contract massively mis managed by Chelsea (same as Unites with Herrera) but you have to pay to keep good players these days, 180k a week at 18 is crazy in the normal world though.

Refreshing to realise that the media don’t only inflate United transfer fee’s and wages. I thought we were the only club on the receiving end of an agenda.

Feck Bayern. Never liked them. Fair play to Chelsea for keeping him.

He's on holiday. He won't be back for the start of the season but I'd expect to see him on the bench in September.
Which is about 5 months, maybe 6 for him to be ready for full games, which ties into the time he was predicted to be out for.

He has been running and working with the ball for a while but his recovery has been remarkable, it will probably beat all the recovery times initially posted. He is very young of course.

This was from a month ago.

Good to see, could be that it wasn't as bad as others and ofcourse like you've said he's very young.

It's a good time for young players at Chelsea so not surprised he's staying. Hopefully with him, Pulisic and Mount, Chelsea aren't in the running for Sancho.

Seems a silly decision to sign now, how does he know Lampard will still be there for the foreseeable future? How does he know he will be able to develop himself in the Champions League for the foreseeable future?

If he had waited till January he could have bounced about 50 different offers against each other and handpick his future development path.

This post makes no sense at all. The lad is happy at Chelsea, it's the only club he has known all his life so clearly he feels at home there and has been there long before Lampard took over, and Chelsea are a big and successful club. Financially it's a good deal for him. He is very talented and young so it's also a good deal for Chelsea. Why do you think he should quit Chelsea? You don't even mention which interested clubs you think he should join.

Three questions:

How consistently have Chelsea played in the Champions League recently?

How many youngsters got chances at Chelsea before Lampard got there?

Given his talent what club in the world wouldn't have wanted him for free?
