Guess there's no way to see how many sitters on a plate Henry and KdB had missed.... but some of this has been brutal for Bruno the past couple of weeks. But obviously substantially more of the attacking phase goes through him than Henry or KdB who had others fully capable.

Yea but then at the same time players can have finishing well off over chances, Casemiro in particular. Last I saw, Bruno's xA is quite below his actual assists so that means players are generally finishing well off his chances.

Hugely unlucky that he doesn’t now hold the record. Can’t do more than he did today to claim it, just let down by poor finishing. That 1v1 from Mbeumo where he just stuck it over the bar was particularly awful.
The Dorgu miss was the worst, by a margin. Especially coming after such an insanely good pass.

The first touch wasn’t easy but once he got the ball under control it was an easier shot to convert than Mbeumo’s.

He had 8 or 9 passes before shot today, and only one assist. Poor Guy…
Absolutely nuts that he didn't break the record today. The xG doesn't even cover it, so many situations where if the attacker took a better touch it could've been a chance.

How the hell does that start work? You're telling me all season long bruno has only played the equivalent of 12 passes that the stats expect the striker to score? Cmon that can't be correct
I've always thought that xG and xPts are shite stats. But they got nothing on xA.
Basically take every stat with an x in front of it with a massive pinch of salt.

He's insanely good and should win all the player of the season awards going. 132 chances created in the Premier League this season, the most of any player. Szoboszlai is in 2nd place with 74... Bruno is so much more creative than everyone else it's just silly.

xG is the wurst way to look at performances

Fun part is that the best chance for assist was Dalot's chance where he wasn't even trying to pass.
Doesn't exactly work like that. xG of 12 would mean more like regardless of how many passes he made before shots, the "equivalent" of 24 were odds on (>50% chance) to be goals, but even then you can't really break it down like that, as an xG of 12 could be anything from 1000 tiny chances to ~15 huge chances.
