Carabao Cup 2026: Semi-Finals

2nd start for Semenyo

Will be Interesting if he's able to cement a place in their starting line up

I think the last time Pep had two direct wingers starting regularly for the club at the same time was Sterling and Sane. Since then he’s liked one direct, one playmaker/technical.

Semenyo is so two footed, he’ll be a weapon on both flanks.

Maybe I’m mistaken but it seems Barnes always finds himself on the bench irrespective of his impact in the previous games.

Jacob Murphy’s crossing and first time balls. One of the best in the league at it. Incredible. One trick pony but it’s a great trick.

Wissa should’ve bagged.

Among two oily weevils, for entertainment I’m hoping to see Pep pissed

Really like how Newcastle have 2-3 players sprinting forward like crazy whenever they win the ball.

Creates an option and way out the ballholder, creates space in front of the defence and keeps the game alive.

Again Foden at ten with the team built around him, again not doing enough, doesn’t create anything, maybe he’ll nick a goal
