Carabao Cup 2026: Semi-Finals

City really living up to the emptihad theme, dont care if they're winning that amount of empty seats is a joke.
Somethings never change. Even after being one of the most successful clubs. Money can’t buy fans though…

Newcastle may as well forfeit the match when Guimaraes and Joelinton aren’t even in the squad.

Take away Guimaraes and Tonali, are Newcastle even a top 10 team?

I will never not stop thinking this should be called the Cowabunga Cup.

Getting worse for Newcastle. Clare Baldings gone off with what looks like a hamstring injury

Maybe City would be better off without starting Haaland and Rodri at Anfield, given how useless they both have been off late.

Ye they’ve looked a lot more lively and threatening here. You just know though that Guardiola ain’t leaving Haaland out of his match day squad for Liverpool.

Must be grim to be a Newcastle fan, all the stigma of being owned by City type owners, with very little to show for it.

Hope not! People might look at him as a cheap option for us. Would be terrible.

I doubt even INEOS are stupid enough to do that. I am no advocate for keeping Carrick but Howe is most definitely a step down from him. If Newcastle don't want you then you are probably fit for the Championship not Old Trafford.

I'm not watching this, but what formation are Newcastle now playing that he's made all those subs?
