Agreed.Hope not! People might look at him as a cheap option for us. Would be terrible.

He's more proven than Michael Carrick to be fair...Newcastle
And Roy Keane wants us to go for Howe as next manager
2nd half of the seasonAh come on. It was only a cup semi-final with a just about guaranteed win from it...
That's good for us, City and Arse with an extra game each in March. We only need Arsenal to get tired and lose one match, draw the next, and if we can keep winning, suddenly we're not so far away. City would need to continue their patchy form of course.
No point being owt but pointlessly over-optimistic, is there.
Not even reached a final in that time I thinkI just read that Arsenal haven’t won a trophy for nearly 6 years. What the feck? I suppose this should be their time to break that given City are not great anymore. And the PL title is theirs to lose too.
City are probably the only team at the moment that would give Arsenal trouble in a final so it should be a good game. Both teams will be desperate to win it so I'd expect full strength sides on show.
Tbf, you might give them a game too. I'm obviously still in Amorim hangover zone. The only team? Not even the only team to beat them on their own turf this season?![]()
I think we all are!Tbf, you might give them a game too. I'm obviously still in Amorim hangover zone.

22nd March League CupNot sure how true this is, but I think we might have the potential to play City 4 times in the space of 5 weeks or something. Obviously the League Cup final in March, and the Premier League game in April, but I think there's a scenario in which we could meet in the Champions League quarters if both get through the Round of 16.
Could even throw an FA Cup game in there as well.
