Amorim using him far better than ETH ever did
Big game player, always rises to an occasion and he was class today.
Still one of our best players. He was excellent and is a superb leader on the pitch.
He’s still a class act when game is played at his pace, too often that isn’t the case in the Premier League but like a lot of our players the drop in physicality and pace in Europe makes them look like different players. Very good tonight right from the start.

Amorim has repeatedly noted the lower level of physicality in the EL, and I think that helps Casemiro a lot.
Other than that, he's still a winner with feck-tonnes of experience in pivotal games.
That was a colossal display. The first twenty minutes we had a lot of players that were really feeling the pressure but he stepped up big time, along with Bruno and Maguire. Phenomenal match from him.

Absolutely, even in his excellent first season. Took Amorim a while but Ruud knew it too, ETH was doing some absolutely bizarre shit.
With Cas if we get his wages off the books in the summer great (unlikely). If not still offers something unlike say Antony or Sancho. A no lose scenario to a certain extent
Casemiro was the MVP. He ran the show and orchestrated the play. There is no substitute for experience in European games and he showed that tonight.

Amorim worked out in only a short space of time how to use him. He’ll be getting a new contract at this rate. He’s been absolutely fantastic these last couple of months.

The drop off under Ten Hag was always ridiculous. Asked too much of him in that midfield set up and took a bit for Amorim to recognize how to adapt his midfield for him too, but he's showing his quality.

Made even more baffling when we kept conceding from set piece after set piece. He’s always been our best player in both boxes and has instantly helped fix that issue since coming back in.
He could play on for another 5 years like Scholes did.

Defo, particularly if spurs do what they do normally and sh*t the bed he will be immense
